hey there was wondering if anyone in the uk sent payment by recorded delivery and it never arrived or took much longer than normal.

reason im asking is i sent my payment recorded delivery 1 week ago and it still hasnt arrived and its not like i live a million miles away and it should of been there the next day.i keep checking online to see if it has been delivered but nothing after 1 week,that only means 1 thing to me. the thing that gets me is on the same day i sent mail to canada just regular airmail and that got there no problem but london to surrey seems to be a problem

if its recorded u can just check with the p/o if its been signed for ,,dont forget though we just had a bank holiday which will delay mail by a few days ,usually though recorded deliveries are priority and get delivered by a certain time ,,in this instance i think yours has been lost /mislaid ,so just call the p/o to enquire then you'll know

been checkin online daily but nothing,phoned them on thursday and she told me what i already knew that it hadnt been delivered and said i had to wait 15 days then i would now that it had been lost.

im just hoping that this might of happened to a few others although i no that its 99.9% not going to get there.

how you supposed to resend the payment (105 quid) when the first so called guaranteed delivery didnt show up.

dont they have to reimburse if they dont deliver?

damn, sorry to hear that. I've never had a registered packet go missing...well, once, but a postal worker stole it. I was sending about $600 US in small bills and she knew it was cash and she knew I was high...I have no doubt in my mind that she stole my money....

sorry to hear that . i m sure it will turn up though , Royal Mail have made BIG improvements lately.

i always use the Special Delivery for cash though , recorded your only insured for 30 quid, with special delivery you can send any amount of cash and pay the appropriate insurance fee.

It costs me 4.10 pounds to send up to 500 quid anywhere in the UK with gauranteed delivery by 1pm next day.

i v had recorded deliveries go missing , which turned up late , but the special deliveries have always reached their destination , intact and on time.

hey guys thanks for stopping by,i never knew about the 4.10 special delivery option as this seems much better suited to sending a cash payment.i just sent recorded like it said on the website,next time i'll send special delivery

btw iff payment does reach i'll let you know.

I sent cash with recorded mail about 3 weeks ago and it looks like seedbay didn't sign for it according to the royal mail website tracking service.
I think I'll have to pick up a claim form from the post office later.
Hope seedbay doesn't relist and give me a warning... I'll send a postal order instead of cash through the standard postal service from now on. I guess I'll have to re-send my payment.
