Strain List

Thx so much for posting this list. My wife has MS and I am looking for a new strain. I had a UBC Chemo/Romulan cross that worked fairly well but the plants and seeds were stolen.

This is the list of MS strains.
Auntie Em
Crohn's Disease, multiple sclerosis

Herijuana x Trainwreck
Diabetic neuropathy, joint pain, insomnia, multiple sclerosis

Krinkle x Kush x Freezeland
multiple sclerosis, muscle spasms

Medi Kush / The Finest Medicinal Marijuana Seed Co
depressive disorder, insomnia, multiple sclerosis
pain relief

Lollipop
Cachexia, degenerative bone/disc disease, edema, general pain, general seizures, glaucoma, migraine, multiple sclerosis, nausea, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Peace Maker / The Finest Medicinal Marijuana Seed Co
depressive disorder, arthritis, multiple sclerosis

TX
Arthritis, asthma, general pain, general seizures, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis

White Rhino
nausea, body pain, back pain, joint pain, insomnia
used with great success as pain relief, against multiple sclerosis, and as a sleeping aid

The only one I could find at a US friendly seedbank was White Rhino.
Any place else anyone can recommend for some of the others? I live in a non-MM state so my options are limited. I would like to try and grow out a few of these strains to see which ones work best for her.

Thanks

does anyone keep an updated list of recommended strains by illness, rather than illness, by strains? thanks in advance.

Almost every strain indicated to help with insomnia here are heavies.
I am interested late stage rem sleep disruption that appears caused by the more narcotic strains. IMO, these strains will knock you out for an extended power nap but if your someone struggling with sleep issues, i would allege they create more late stage disruption. I have some additional information about this but wont muddy this thread more than I have already with this post.

If your looking to remove yourself from pain and "make the World go away" for a little while these are great, if your attempting to regulate your sleep patterns, your gonna be chasing your tail.

What would be really cool (aside from more db backend from icmag)
would be to add a list of common medical genres under the strain guide that reg users can vote on like " _____ users found this strain helpful with depression" . Then sort by Depression most helpful, or Insomnia least helpful.

The importance of describing strains which are contra indicated for particular medical condition(s) has as much medical value (if not more IMO) as describing their efficacy.

We can only relate our own subjective and anecdotal (ethno geography)
when it comes to organizing strains by medicinal (reported) effect. At this point.

BBing..you haven't muddied anything..your commments are welcome and I find interesting. You have a good idea with "add a list of common medical genres under the strain guide that reg users can vote on" I find that many patients react differently to various strains thus one would have to try these themselves to evaluate personal results. I have sleep apnea and used a CPap for years. But the Apnea diagnosis itself is sometimes a grey area, confusing and unclear as to what is causing the disorder. I personally think my pain awakes me at night but my doctor thinks otherwise. Rems are few and far between for me. I have smoked many different strains in trying to treat this. Hash works best for me hands down. Hash made from indicas or sativas ..the strain doesn't seem to make much difference and I don't know why? I can manage a rem or two in an afternoon catnap after a small puff of hash. I have discontinued the Cpap, I am always trying dietary and other lifestyle changes to help me..but in the end..my pain dominates all my health issues, what can be done to improve these, and I have to treat it first. ..big smiles.. DD

hey guys, what do yall think about Rick Simpson's "hemp oil" (black tar looking ,alcohol distilled, strong looking stuff) he says a pound of nug yields an ounce of oil. Rick and the other people, in the film "Run from the cure", say they rub the oil on the surface of skin for skin cancer and in 4 months cancer cured!?, and for serious type of cancer ingest oil once a day for 4 months and cancer cured!? ,,

what do you guys think??
peace
