Blackberry Widow x Blueberry - Test Grows - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

This thread is LONG overdue. The Cap was kind enough to send these to me when ALL my purple weed attempts failed miserably... Of 5 seeds, I got 2 keeper females. One is very indicaish finishing right at 8 weeks, the other goes up to 12 - getting fatter all the way. The sativa dominant is a deeper purple color, smelling almost chemically - a very different berry smell than anything else I've come across... The indica is a lighter purple, chunky, lighter berry smell - more fruity - and probably the most sugar coated plant in my collection of a 1/2 dozen strains!

The smoke on the sativa is very chemically/fruity with a heady high, right behind the eyes. The high lasts for 45minutes to an hour and just disappears! Truly nice for first thing in the morning before work!

The indica is knockdown couchlock. Kicks my ass! Fruity flavor that can't be described...

Now my camera blows goats, so I took the best pic I could - the one on the left is the sativa dom, in the middle is my Double Green Doja (NONE WERE PURPLE) and the indica dom is on the right.

On another note, I am running a test grow of the Cap's Bubbleberry, and I have grown out and love the SuperFruit 2. I had problems with my soil after germing the Bubbleberry, so I am ashamed to say I won't have many to choose from when all is said and done,,, but the SuperFruit 2 kicks balls!!! VERY homegenous, my 2 keeper moms could be clones! Nice fruity - almost juicy fruit smell with an orange taste! Great smoke, lovely, easy to clone, easy to grow!

I also picked up his G13 x Blueberry and G13 x Afghani on SeedBay. I germed all the G13 x Blueberry but had the same soil problems... only 1 left. I cried like a sissy girl. I'll be starting the G13 x Afghani soon.

Basically what I'm saying is Capt's genetics will NEVER leave my regular rotation - his stuff is right up there with Bogs LifeSaver.

I am proud to have his genetics and to call him my friend!

The Chemically Berry odor you are trying to describe comes from the Blackberry Widow and smells like opium-berries to me but I do know what cha mean...
Glad you liked the SF as it is very Homogenous(stable) and yeilds quality results..

On another note,,,you did well to cry about the G13 X Blueberry lost...
It is one of the most potent hybrids I have EVER grown!!All G13 hybrids are G13 dominant so take a close look at the single plant you will have even if it's male...You can always use him to make a killer batch of seed...Just be sure if it's male that it stinks to high heaven..

IF it's a boy, I'm gonna cross him with these babies - should add a little more kick to the sativa pheno and holy christ - it'll make the indica pheno a KILLA!

It looks like the G13xBB that's left is definitely a boy. Will cross him with these and with my Blueberry pheno LifeSaver. Should make for a nice cross!

Is the blackberry in the BBwidow the same as the veryberrysurprise that were given out as freebies awhile back? Very nice by the way, description and pics have me foaming at the mouth!!!
