Feminized pollen comes from flowers on a female plant which developed without the presence of ethylene. Without ethylene, the flowers which form are male. Since they're on a female plant without the male chromosome, the pollen produced will create 99.9% female seeds.
Silver Thiosulfate Solution is used to introduce silver to a plant. Silver stops the production of ethylene and the flowers which form are male.
