BOG's LSD Grow Journal by massass
Hey I figured I'd do a C-13 grow journal for you. I'm using BOG's LSD so far 100% germination rate! Kinda hot where I'm growing so we'll see how it turns out. 1st time growing in C-13 temps range from 85-92 a bit hot, but we'll see how it turns out. I germed in paper towels and all popped w/in 2 days. Planted in Schultz organic potting soil.
Im venting with a dayton 265cfm squirrel cage. I know it's not an exhaust fan but it seems to work good. Exhaust goes through a can33 filter So far all but 2 are through soil and most have first true leaves. Watered once today and misted twice with pure water. Lights on (250 wt. sunsystem HPS) 24/7. Will update frequently. ENJOY Smoke on! |

Wish you the best of luck with this grow. Your setup looks good. Just a couple questions how close is the lamp from the top of the plants. Also the soil you are using does it have alot of chemicals added to the soil watch out on burning them. Maybe another exaust fan will help with temps and possibly another desk fan blowing on stems. Peace

i usually veg under flouros and keep them as close as possible.this 250 watt i started off with it bout 10 inches from tops of new plants.i have moved it down to about 8 and no leaf burn has occured.the soil i use is the soil ive used on almost everyone of my other grows.the package claims its all organic.i dont fertalize till they are a little bigger.i usually only fert when i start getting near the 12/12 cycle, unless they show signs of a problem.

massass- What size light are you using? Air cooling your hood would do the trick i bet.

i am using a 250 watt hps.yeh ive thought of the air cooled hood but figured its summer and its hot nothing i can do.its in my large living room for now ,which in the summer is hot and winter cold.but i am hopeing the new air conditioner will help keep room cool and grow temps down.i would have put down in basement where ive done all my other grows(stable year round temps) but will be haveing work done on house and my grow room down there stood out.so i went with cabinet in the unfinished living room, where theres alot of random tools and ect lying around.my battle i can see so far will be the heat this time around.now back to installing that friggan ac unit that has proved to be the biggest pain in the ass!!!

moved my seedlings down to basement.way to hot in my new c 13.i now have them under a 4 ft flouro next to my b 52 seedlings.i have given them nothing but water.looking ok i think the temps had a negative affect on them.....i am goin to put a fan next to them to stregthen the stems up.give them a little sway in the breeze
but overall so far so good.just dont know what i should do when it comes to flowerin?the c13 or build another room again in basement?temps are sweet down there but dusty as all hell.ive done a couple crops down there and had good results.i dont know...but ill figure it out and report back to you all.will update in couple days[img]https://www.icmag.com/gallery/data/500/1414P1010069-med.JPG[/img and my b52s |

what kind of ventilation you have goin on there that you're havin heat issues?
you have a decent allowance for passive intake? i see you have an exhaust fan, but cant see any intakes.... if you dont have any, you need em, that should help cut down on heat quite a bit.... also, i have that same reflector. i drilled a 4" hole in the side of it and attached a fan adapter to it, which i then attached some flexi duct to, which attached to the fan which blows air into a carbon filter. waalaa home made air cooled hood. GL mang, i know that i'm happy with my cab grow hopefully you're results will be even better! THC |
