2 questions about seedbay
howdy.
why are some auctions 5 months out? are they breeding the seeds now and figuring that's when they will be done? if i win a bid tomorrow and i'm waiting to see the results of another in a week, will seedbay hold on to the first order and ship both at the same time? thank you!

There are no auctions 5 months out. There are many buy now listings which are 5 months or even longer listed. If a variety listed for several months becomes unavailable is it removed from the site. This is the only way to have buy now listings of many readily available varieties without having to upload hundreds of listings every week or two....a VERY time consumming task. By listing them for 6 months it becomes a much less maintenance burden for data entry.
ALL payments (auction or buy now) are due to SB within 14 days of closing date. If you are combining payments for more than one auction make sure the earlier closed one(s) are not going to go beyond the 2 week payment period. If you can combine payment in a manner to assure it arrives SB within 14 days then that's no problem. But, by doing this if it makes one of the listings go beyond the 14 days then it would not be wise to combine payments. Thanks, dg |

thank you dg.
i tend to be a bit high when i surf. i must have missed the buy now button. the plan is that when i win the first one i'll be sure to get any payments in before 14 days. when i win the next bid i'll send in the rest of the money and you'll ship them together. that will work. have a good day.

No, SB doesn't hold shipments waiting on subsequent payments....when a payment is received, the package ships within 24 hours for whatever is being paid for.

"SB doesn't hold shipments waiting on subsequent payments"
that answers the question. i'm very uncomfortable with the whole mailing seeds thing and would prefer to have several genetics sent at once. i'll work it out. thanks again dg.
