NepJamx's

a partner to my VbTx's thread...
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=268370

around 6 years ago i made several
crosses using a Nepal Jam male to pollinate:
- chocolate rain, cocoa kush-leaning pheno
- F13
- purple cindy. highgrade seeds
- laughing buddha, fem :(
- johnnyBlaze
- taskenti
- orient express
- X18, pakistani. tom hill
- VbT
- kandy skunk. not tom hill

also, pollinated a NepJam lady with a
johnnyBlaze- the same male that
created my freaky grinspoon-ish JB F2s.
and is a grandfather of personal cross,
gloomSlayer.

wanted something kushy for a change in the garden.
couldn't find the taskenti x NJ, so dropped a few X18 x NJ
in water this morning, to head into soil tomorrow.

looking forward to seeing how NJ's honey'd aromas work
their way into the X18's fruity/cheesy ones. also, the X18
delivers a fairly clean indica stone, and want to see how that
works with the NJ's clear floaty-headedness.

more later, saludos

Hi LowFalutin,

Glad to hear you are finally going to explore the Nepal Jam crosses you made a few years ago, they all sound very interesting!

I also worked extensively with Nepal Jam and its crosses last year, i will need at least 1-2 years to fully explore their potential.

I liked a lot the pure X18 from Tom Hill when i used to grow it from clone (thanks to Raco!) more than 10 years ago .... it's a lovely indica with a very kind and positive effect and very enjoyable fruity terpenes, guess it will be a good match for Nepal Jam.

What kind of Nepal Jam pheno did you use for your crosses ?
A fast flowering purple one or a more sativa green pheno ?

I'm working mainly towards the very early, colorful and more resinous Nepal Jam expressions with more refined honey terpenes.

...
dubi- an old X-18/uzbeki hybrids thread from here at ace...
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread....ght=%22X-18%22

there actually wasn't really any NJ selection process...
i only popped a couple of seeds and worked with the male and female that i got.
i do remember the female NJ had those rounder nepalese-leaning buds, with the early-browning pistils.
but can't remember what the male was like.
good thing is, i found that pack of original NJ regs with 7 seeds left, and may attempt a repro.
X18xNJ seedling today...

i may pop a few of the VbTxNJs to see how the NJ male performs there.

saludos

I was just browsing around and saw you have been working or have worked with Johnny Blaze. I worked through many JB beans over the years and the power and overall quality that I found in them was really some of the best anyone could hope for! Made a cross with a beautiful Sweet Blue male and 3 prime JB females and the rest was one big love affair!

At any rate, the NJ X selections should wonderful. Ace is where true lovers of real cannabis can find that genetic profile that has traceable roots, honest breeders, kind and helpful consult and the best damn true Sativa selections available.

Regards and best of luck to you.

cheers azeotrope. i've several crosses made with the jBlaze
male still untested, but here's one that used a taskenti female...

aroma in veg was the rubber car tire side of diesel-
no citrus or sour. unfortunately it turned male.

i like what jBlaze did in my [nevillesHaze x (jBlaze F2 x GrHazeThai)] cross.
it's the woodiest aroma'd weed i've ever come across...

Regards and best of luck to you.
unfortunately, two of the X18 x NJ seedlings were born deformed.
here's one...

this seems to be an issue carried over from the X18, as documented here...
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=326488

a VbT x NJ seedling today...

the VbT was around F3, and the NepJam was around F4 or F5,
as worked by the ace/cbg breeders, when i grew/crossed them in 2012.

the F2s from this cross could be interesting...

saludos

X18 x NepJam seedling...

EDIT: launched a few seeds of cbg's purple mexican.
if i get males in the X18xNJ cross, i'll pollinate any pck-leaning PMs with 'em.

also may use BM jam-leaning "double jam" males to pollinate the X18xNJ ladies,
sort of a side-ways back-cross to the BMJ in the NJ. the X18 should help hold back
the extended flower time of the lambsbread influence. both the X18 and NJ should
add some kindness to the lambsbread's tendency to get electric-spooky in effect.

saludos

~ 9wks from seed, and
~ 3.5wks from summer solstice,
the X18 x NepJams are declared.
1 male (the smallest plant at this point),
and 2 ladies. here's one- the darkest green,
greasiest leaves, toothiest leaf serations,
tallest, most pistiled...

her pistils...

i may put them into light deprivation flowering mode soon...

saludos

cheers OU

VietblackThai x NepJam crosses-
first plant to declare at 8.5wks from seed,
and ~ 3.5wks from sum solstice.
she declared early (the only 1 so far),
and seems to want to remain squat,
so i'm guessing nepal-leaning...

and next to her VbT x NJ sister, behind,
who seems to be more Vb-leaning...

saludos
