Question Any amature / pro photographers in da house??

I’m gonna be buying Nikon d7500

I just don’t know if I should settle for 18-140mm lens that comes with it

Or

Buy a more zoom-able lenses up to 300mm??
The problem with those is that they call em jack of all trades, the ones that zoom far and wide and some say there not very good for sharp images :/

I must say I want to take photographs at distance, so I’m very confused

Wink

I have two lenses for my camera, 18-55 for close and macro, plus a 75-300 for outside.
Over 90% of the photos use the wide angle lens. If I attended sports or public events more then the longer lens would get used more, but the overwhelming majority are inside pictures or images of everyday activities of friends.

A short lens can photo a label off a bottle, the long lens can get a tree on a hillside.
