Heres my background with the skunk variety. In the early 90's, when I was in my teens, my step dad had skunk plants in veg in his basement. I made the comment several times, before smoking and knowing that it could be a cannabis scent. I literally thought there was a dead skunk in there. I remember the mail man saying something about it to my step dad, and my step dad made his son in law come and get them out of there.
Fast forward a few years, and im smoking by now, and don't have much education on cannabis, but have been lucky enough to smoke good home grown and new the difference between, ok grass, commercial, and higher quality. By then an older friend of mine had been growing the skunk variety out doors, in the Midwest, near the cornfields, for a couple years. It grew large Christmas trees. About mid flower, you were stressing cause it was rks aroma, 1/4 mile away already. The grows got ripped more times than not. You couldn't take this cannabis with you anywhere without hearing, who hit the skunk out there? It was very hard to be low key, with skunk. Really it was impossible back then. The people you didn't want to know, thought it was a skunk, and only 1/2 the people that smoked, new it was skunk cannabis. But there was no hiding it. Now we have carbon filters, and more lax medicinal and rec laws, that don't exasperate those fears, as much, as back then. So that's a little about my background with skunk. I don't really have any experience with sk1, but I know what skunk smells like. And I know what skunk cannabis smelled like back in the early 90's in the Midwest. as2 First thing that came to mind when I was checking him out was, foul. |

as6
This female is the most rank of all this run, except the male as2. The leaves look hybrid to me, maybe slight nld? Right in the middle of the nld and wld stuff I've grown. |
