Here are some f4 mothers from Dj's rnd project. Ive got just a little info on some of them. I'll update as I get more information.


I received cuts of these to try out in my flower room. Big thanks to Dj!


Newberry (fx1)




Ive smoked week 7 samples, from this phenotype. I have not discussed with dj why he chose the name newberry, but after smoking it, I have a feeling why. It has a more pronounced natural bb flavor than the original in my early testing. Great beautiful color fade to lavender/purple as well. Heres a week 7 sample that you can see is already fading color.



This phenotype got a name, so I expect to see it in the rotation in the future, but I will wait to see what Dj has to say.

Blue Moonshine (fx4), week 7




This pheno, I have no experience with, and have not sampled yet. But im sure there are plenty of other blues aficionado's that already know what she is all about. Correct me if im wrong, but I believe bm is a indica dominant hash variety of bb. Cant wait to get a chance to sample this one!

After smoking week 7 samples and mature samples, this phenotype has some distinct differences than most bb variety ive smoked. Early notes of spice, and perfume were present. I would like to revisit this one again to test the effect. I know Dj mentioned a bb pheno and a TF pheno. I believe the early growth characteristics placed this one in the bb category, but I think the aromas and flavors are quite unique compared to the bb f5 currently on the market.

Ill find out from him for fact, but im pretty confident we are gonna see blue moonshine in seed form. Now that fx1(newberry) got presented a name, im hopeful for it too. I think there"s a chance to see Happy Pussy in seed form hopefully too. Ill get back with an answer next chance I have to catch up with Dj.


I don't think I've mentioned Happy Pussy in this thread so far. If I remember correctly, it is a f5 selection from the bb line. But I will confirm that as well. I've had the pleasure of sampling it a time or two and its very enjoyable. I wish I had a cleaver way of describing the effect besides its elating, up beat, but not racy, laughing meds or giggle weed. Maybe better put, it puts a warm smile on your face, or as Dj says "It makes you purr like a pussy cat." Sounds silly, but if you've experienced this effect in herb you know exactly what I mean. Its the pinnacle of feeling good with no underlying anxiety or stress that sometimes comes on in different herbs. Happy news, my little cut just took root, so hopefully I can get some pics up of her in the near future.


Oh also a little info for fellow blues lovers, there may be some seed packs of original f13 to be had if you run into Dj at a event or club. I recently germinated a small batch of 5 with 100% sprouted. Ill get some pics of them here soon, but theres some nice purple and red stems to select from!
