calcium def????
hello, im dealing with what could be calcium deficiency on my 5th week of flowering Bad Azz Kush, my top leafs are dark green and they are developing yellow/brown dots from what ive read calcium goes from lower leaf up, but this started up. so i just want to double check. Im growing hydro DCW, 600w led.*

Can't say if it's Calcium def or not, but more info if you have it would be good.
pH, grow temps and what nutrients are you using. Have you checked for the borg? To me, thouse spots kinda looks like mite bites. So I'd be checking the underside of the leafs, with a magnifying glass asap. But let's hope I am wrong! |

Definitely Calcium rust spots. Very common under LED with lots of 660nm, less common under white and LES COBs. Top fans are because it's immobile, and the plant needed more than it could find during that new and high growth period, and can't move it from elsewhere.
I'd up the Ca during and after the stretch, and also consider doing foliar with Ca around that same time. If in soil, amend with several types of Ca and minerals and a corresponding amount of gypsum to pH balance out the lime, and that is usually a cure for the rusting. |
