Manifold / Mainline Dumb Question

On my first indoor grow and have three plants that I have successfully manifolded to each having 8 tops.
Been searching the web for hours for when I should make the flip to 12/12.
As of today (day 41 veg) they each have about two nodes on their respective 8 new tops.

Question:
Do I wait for a certain number of nodes?
A certain amount of time?
A certain plant height?

At what point do I put these plants into flower for the best results?

BTW, I'm in no particular hurry to flower, more interested in quality buds.

Thanks much and Happy Budding!

You can flip them whenever you're comfortable. If you've got good roots, then swing away. Sooner if you have a low ceiling or tent but you can always train and stake. 8 tops after a month and change seems just fine but it's entirely up to you. Pics?

It's time for a revolution, but probably not in the terms that people imagine it. The word conjures up images of— a modern day version of peasants going into the street with their pitch forks to go after the bad guy who lives in a big house and we're gonna get that son-of-a-bitch and we'll take all the stuff from him and we'll give it to the workers. That's not the kind of revolution I had in mind. I thought that it might be nice if it was handled a little bit more modern and efficient way, without people getting slaughtered. It's a matter of infiltration…The people who are in control of the media, the government that run the lives of the average person in the street. They aren't doing a good job 'cause they don't really care. The potential is there in the younger generation. Right now they’re not really interested. Their political involvement is on a very superficial basis. They go out for the social aspects of a march or a rally rather than for what it could possibly accomplish. -FZ

As of today, they are 45 days from sprout. I'm LST'ing three plants and manifolding three plants in a 4'x4' x 80" tent.
One out of the three manifolded plants (the biggest and strongest) got cute and developed 3 new stems on one side and thus will have 10 cola tops since I decided to leave it there rather than cut it.
Hell, it's my first indoor grow so what the heck, right? lol
All plants are pretty healthy and it looks like I'll flip the entire bunch this coming Saturday.
Here are some pics I took earlier today. Some are before LST and after and before defol and after.
Gotta feel sorry for the 2 LST'ers that I attacked today (other was done yesterday) cuz I went after them hard - REAL hard.
Figured might as well since this is my one last biggest go at them before flip.
Might do some more defol and/or lst up until the end of the second week of flower but nothing like they carnage I brought on them today.
The last pic is of the prior damage I inflicted on the biggest manifolded plant (Let's call him Don). That is the node that has one extra stem and that is the 10 cola plant.

Thanks so much for your response, bsgospel, and...

Happy Budding!

Should I continue removing all new growth tips on each of the 8 main colas or do those become part of the main buds?

Sorry. Having picture issues, but...

Should I continue removing all new growth tips on each of the 8 main colas or do those become part of the main buds?

Hi Cola,
Looking at your pics, your mainlining/manifold it's done. No need to remove anything more in my opinion.

Thanks for that, Jan.

Guess I'll ride them out "as-is" and just be defoling a few fans here and there that may inhibit adequate light penetration.

Thank you for your timely response
