Rosttartalma 25 % körüli. A rost minősége az egyik legjobb az egész világon: finom és erős. Ennek különösen a textiliparban van jelentősége. 9-11 t/ha kórótermést ad. Megfelelő termesztéstechnológiai előírások alkalmazásával a fajta 13-15 tonna hektáronkénti biomassza tömeg elérésére alkalmas.
fiber content 25%, one of the best quality in the world, strong and soft at the same time, it is important at textile manufaxturing 9-11 t of "stems or whatever the fibers are extractected, and it can produce 13-15 t of biomass / 2.5 acres |

Just taking quick look at map N. Spain & C. Italy at 42ş latitude could incorporate this line in the future but also have different ecosystem.
In 1930's Chinamington could have produce 4,350 pounds of dew retted fiber per hectare'. ( 2.5 acres ) But this fiber may have not been the quality of the fiber Whippedmeat has under production. So it would need to hybridized and selected towards this in the future. Last edited by Kankakee; 02-27-2018 at 03:10 PM.. |

@whipedmeat
thanks for coming into thread with your knowledge and information. do you rotate crops w/ hemp and how many generations have you grown hemp only without rotation and did you notice a drop off in quality or yield per sq meter .... thanks again. |

@mexcurandero420
thanks for stopping by. looking forward i'd assume after putting protections in place and finding the right partner we could mimic the way Finola outsourced genetics and it's now being used in Canada. I know one company in usa now growing a few European varieties in Kentucky. They must be trying to acclimate varieties ..... but that could take some time and in higher humidity zones we have a black leaf spot disease attacking leaves on maple, oak trees annual wild nettles and canna. It can take out a cannabis plant in ten days or less destroying the leaf set first / photosynthesis then the plant just dies off .... And I will only be focused on a single line that will help acceleration quickly towards production goals that are needed in the future. Incorporating tradition selection, Dewey's and the Bredemann technique allowing 30 percent plus advancement per year. And the higher the numbers used when selecting like Luther Burbank 200,000-400,000 allows for outlier possibilities so the height gains etc can be advanced over time so yield per square meter could theoretically leap-frog the phenotype shown to date. This line also evolved within native soil never with added inputs of nutrients or aeration as the prairie grass and underlying root zone was very thick .... thanks .... what country and latitude ? if you don't mind me asking ( or send me a private message ) Thanks !
but like within the usa in 1940's they did seed production in Kentucky ( 35-36 ş latitude ) but grew those seeds in Wisconsin, Minnesota , Illinois, and Indiana .... so you can grow these seeds at different latitudes but finishing times are affected. But with fiber lines and the males dying off and time you harvest changing time frames. |

In the area where i live high humidity could be problem. Personally i'm more interested in bushy varieties than single stem varieties like USO or Chamaeleon, which is one of the new fibre varieties developed in Holland. |

This is a Chinese seed variety from Yunnan region i grew a few years ago.
This variety is dioecious, at 51 N it starts to flower at beginning of September till end of October.Quite resistance against molds.It produces big seeds also. Something else.I read about fibre quality and hollow stems, but i grew Parvati years ago, which had also hollow stems, but this variety is mainly grown for hashisch and not for fibre, so don't think it is reliable option between those two characteristics. |
