DIY Home Spectrography for Cannabis Analysis

Anyone know if it's possible to perform home DIY Spectrography. Not sure of this is possible but it's worth looking in to.

There are a number of articles out there using digital cameras and smartphones in conjunction with either home made or inexpensive "usb" spectrographs.

There are also a number of open source apps for Smartphone spectroscopy but nothing specific to cannabis

I'm going to start gathering what info I can.

TLC or Thin Layer Chromatography is one of the more accurate and least expensive ways to test cannabis. You can buy a kit to use at home for $160 from this company.

I already have one of those. Just looking to do something different.

Besides, that kit is a rip. Grow Buddy from Montana Biotech does the same thing for under $50.
