Unhappy Sour Grape & Sour Strawberry seeds too old?

I recently got some Sour Grape and Sour Strawberry from seedbay and i have about 10% germination from 34 seeds

Some cracked open with a tiny nub, then did nothing.

I did try scuffing about 20 of them in a roll of sandpaper, but same result.

It is the first time i ever scuffed seeds, after the first planting did nothing, i thought i would try it.

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem?

Thanks.

I have a pack of sour grape that I haven’t popped yet, but I had a 100% germination rate on my sour strawberry they I popped in the last 60 days. I’m surprised to hear you’ve had such bad luck with your beans.

If you have issues consider reaching out to BOG directly via email (you can see it on his profile) and he will most likely work with you to get any bad beans replaced. BOG has always stood by his beans, his customers, and this community.

Thank you for your help, i appreciate it.

I don't know why they are like this i didn't think they were THAT old....

Maybe they haven't been stored very well because i have older seeds than i think these are that germinate ok.

BOG will take care of ya broski. I’ve had it happen before too (not with BOG but others).

Sometimes old stock accidentally finds its way into circulation.
