Pressure testing problems?
Currently when I use my air compressor to put air into one of my honeypots the pressure seems to go down durastically I think it’s possibly due to the fact that after a while the air begins to warm because the air compressor is getting hot and because they’re honey pots and they have a jacket where the water in them is about 50 F and the air being put in is probably near 100 F and I think the hot air is condensing back into water due to the durastic differences in temperature

If your question is: will cold water in the jacket of my honey pot interact with hot air in the honey pot, I believe the answer is yes. If you are pressure testing by putting hot air into the honey pot, I'm assuming cold water in the jacket will cause condensation in the honey pot and the psi will change overnight.
I use a filter inline to avoid putting moisture into the honey pot. I'm not sure there is a way to avoid the air in the compressor heating up though. |
