Hey dude, happy to hear little ones are good!
I got the green haze Honduras going. I think the Honduras helps the haze genes to tolerate some nutrient levels my other haze varietys don't like as much. The Hz x hond did get a bit stretchy in the initial flower flip. If I was doing it again, I'd cut the nitrogen back a smidge. I normally like to give a little nitrogen kick during their initial growth spurt to give support to the developing structure. I'd dial back the N intensity next time. Those are my shared notes for what id do, but I did observe these are not super sensitive to over feeding like i might have thought. Honduras are known to be lanky. Hey good luck with the grow sir ![]() NC

Welcome! Thanks for stopping in. Quote:
The Honduras definitely seems to be more tolerate to nutrients which is a good thing; thanks for mentioning that because it's going to be very helpful going into flower. I'll make sure they have some N, but I'll follow your advice and keep the N a bit lower through stretch. ----------------------- Because these strains can take such a long time to flower (correct me if I'm wrong please, but p haze is a phenotype of oldtimer's haze I believe -- 16-20 weeker), I'm hoping to get cut some of the lower branches for cloning post stretch. At this stage I don't know enough about breeding to really make decent seeds, but I'd like to retain at least a few cuttings off the females to see what I end up getting. I just got more beans from the Dubinator yesterday -- Malawi, Zamaldelica, Ethiopian, and OT Haze (Thanks Dubi! ) so I've definitely got some fun stuff in the works. I've also got some Mangobiche and Green Haze laying around that I'd like to play with so I'm not sure what I'd like to run next. I'm going to wait until my BOG genetics finish flowering before I pop any more sativa beans so I can have some space for Dubi's monsters to flower. ![]() Cheers all, Kas

Starting flower today. Seeing roots shoot out of containers now so they’ve adjusted post transplant. Feeding 1:4 strength every day now and they seem to like this.
11/13 under 600w HPS. I might swap to 1000w after 6-8 weeks depending on how they’re developing. I’ll update when there is something to show guys. I’m sweating the stretch but still excited to see what these monsters do in the next couple weeks. Once I see preflowers I’ll be removing males.

They’re stuffed in with some indy dom hybrids. They’ll have a lot more space soon. I haven’t sexed the hybrids yet so I’m expecting to remove a few of the larger plants from the tent. Worst case I’ll add a new tent for them.

Hi Kaskadian
![]() Thank you very much for supporting our work again, i'm glad you are expanding your sativa family The sativas seedlings are indeed super cute!As you are experiencing, these kind of tropical pure sativas need very little feeding in the seedling stage, usually they are fine in their first weeks of life with the nutrients of a good soil. They should explode now after the transplant That's what they need if you want them large: space, light intensity and uniform warm temps. Thanks for your update! |

I’m hoping I didn’t shoot myself in the foot by transplanting them. Coco can be funny stuff — I’ve found it hard for plants to become truly rootbound with daily watering. They seem happy enough though. I’m hoping running them under 11/13 helps reduce the stretch a bit but I’m still expecting monsters. I have about 200 cm of height to play with. This run will help determine how long I veg (if at all) for future grows in coco. Post transplanting I’m giving them a day without watering once in a while. Soon they’ll be back to daily watering and during flower perhaps 2-3x a day depending on how they respond. Keeping PH between 5.5-6.0 usually in the 5.6-5.8 range. Runoff is typically 5.7-5.8. Temps steady at 22c. Cheers all |
