Jacks 3-2-1 vs 3-2 -- Extra Mag or Not...
Over the last few years researching, I have seen both sides...
Jacks has plenty (mag). vs This or that strain needs more or Jacks needs more for Cannabis... Not sure how the 1 of the 3-2-1 Mag came to be. Sure there is a worthy history... Even Jacks/Peters mentions adding extra Mag so that might be the origin... I wonder if any of this has to do with the potential dissolubility of Magnesium in harder waters mixing jacks. Pre-mixing I have always even in Distilled water noticed a final precipitate left at the bottom? Any feedback would be really appreciated... Thanks for your time... |

I got Caught with my Own Poll.
I had to make a decision and I chose #3 because I haven't tried it both ways enough to be sure. Sorry. I guess I need to do a side-by-side: Funny thing is my current strain c99 has been considered my someone somewhere a Mag hog? |

Jacks 3-2-1 give you
n 119 p 42 k 171 mg 76 ca 95 That's too much, I've had issues with less Mg than that. Jacks 3-2-0 n 119 p 42 k 171 Mg 50 Ca 95 ^that's about perfect. Mg should be roughly 1/2 of Ca, and Ca should be 1/2 to 2/3 of K |
