LPG @ different temperatures occupy different volumes
If I have LPG at different temperatures let's say -20 F and 32 F and I fill them in a let's say 10'x10'x10'. do they still fill the same volume or can you fit more in the same space with the LPG at -20 F?

LPG expands and contracts with temperature, as do all liquids and gases.

As long as the volume is fixed the density will increase with the condensing of the LPG.
Think of water vapor condensing into water, (don't think of water condensing into ice). The density of the H2O is increasing as the water vapor condenses into liquid. As Graywolf and Bush Dr said, "Boyles Law". |
