How safe: parchment paper & silk screen mesh?
Apparently, bleached (the white version) parchment paper can/will/may leach the chemical dioxin into what you are heating.
In that case, it is better to use the unbleached parchment paper for rosin pressing, one can assume. What about the filter bags made from silk screen mesh. Those are made, in some cases, from polyester monofilament and were never intended to be heated or used with something to be consumed. Comments? |
