Anyone tried this? I know it sounds icky but not when you consider what else goes in fertilizer (chicken shit, cow shit, moss, worm castings, etc).
Probably best to do outdoor only and having a pretty clean diet would also help. Most of us eat a ton of preservatives and crap that probably isn't all that great for them.

But the only real difference is shock protection during transplant.
A grow guru here at IC, maybe close to 8-10 years ago, had recommended humic acid, hygrozyme, and sheep manure as a source of stable healthy growth for an aging plant I still have today.

I imagined that goat and sheep poo were/are fairly close in values.

Problem I had back then, aside from more folks having goats than sheep, thereby sheep manure being more difficult to find in bulk, was that nearly all the goat manure I could find was heavily blended with used barn straw; perhaps 80-85% straw and 15-20% goat poo.

I figured composting was too long in duration to get it to break down fully, and separating was a pain in the ass.

Used to raise milk goats over 40 years ago. Wouldn't mind having either the fresh milk, cheeses, -or- the manure to utilize. And the goats were far smarter than our sheep. More pleasant to be around.

Wink

General Hydroponics is getting 30% of the vote.

I use the GH3 for soft water, the hard water formula does not have enough calcium.
Since 2001 this has been the go to nutrient source. The only additive found useful is "Grower's Gold" short chain Fulvic Acid (derived from mixed Humic Acids) which adds nothing on it own at all. For $300/gallon it helps ion transfer of regular nutrients. It does it well enough to be a standard in all phases of growth.

I started with advanced, 2 grows later I switched to maxi bloom for my base nute for veg and bloom. Only additives I use are orca and cal mag plus. It works well with both dwc and aeroponics. Simple leaves Murphy less room to mess with ya.

The goat manure I get is outside under a over hang. It's pretty much all pellets and powder and hard to tell what may be dirt, verses the powdered pellets. The bedding is scooped 2x a day, so there is not a lot of pellets/powder feces most of the time. It's highly concentrated urine and I stay away from that. But my mom used some bedding from a dairy goat operation many years ago on some roses. They won an award that year and got in the paper for the roses.

I pretty much use what I can but in the world of online shopping it's easy to get insecure. I just don't care that much about veggies and usually get a good harvest. Sometimes though disease gets the tomatoes, and that kinda stinks. Usually a fungal issue of some sort due to lot's of rain in the spring. I don't really recall, it doesn't stop me from putting out veggies every year. It's interesting to see how the year goes.

I just cannot afford to grow weed right now or buy any. It's pretty costly to smoke it too because I have a fond attachment and it's not popular with people that HEAVILY influence my life, security and well being. But I've learned more sober about growing weed than ever before smoking or growing. Learned a lot about the drug in the rare chances I did find some. It's hard being a tobacco smoker and a cannabis smoker. Tobacco has a profound influence the cannabis experience and desire. Not to mention it all works with the immune system. Defenses and intelligence in general.

I wouldn't have mentioned it but was thinking you might still be able to change it.
I like maxigrow/bloom when I play w Coco or dwc. Made some very tasty buds with it last turn.
Been thinking about adding MAP to bring the K % down, and alter the ammo/nitrate ratio as nearing flower.

Tried everything then settled on the best- cheap maxigro for veg and Veg + Bloom (RO/Soft) for bloom. 1.2-1.3 ec the entire way through bloom- no snakeoil additives or boosters needed.
