"For every $1 spent on Jacks to create a their stock tank solution a GH user will spend $8.00. Compared to Jacks a person using Canna or House and Garden will spend $20.00 on nutes for every $1.00 a person spends on Jacks.

By these numbers it's clear you can spend $100.00 on Nutrients instead of $1000.00. By doing nothing more then switching brands."

it is indeed cheap!

it should also be mentioned that it is dead simple and really pH stable. my 25g res takes over a week to drift from 5.5 to 6.0.

Maxibloom is also incredibly cheap.

At 7g/gal it's roughly.084/gal.
$2.52 for a 30 gal res.
$15.12 for an 8 week strain.

DOH!

The input is greatly appreciated. Again, thank you to everyone who stops to share. I see price comparison coming up a lot, what are the other things you'd like to have changed about the specific nutrient you use?

I've been using Age Old Organics Bloom and just read that its not organic? Is this true? If so, they're going to get an earful from me.

EDIT: It says "not for use in organic crop and organic food production in the state of California." The fuck does that mean?

Individualized organic amendments, many from DTE, mixed in Pro-Mix with Perlite and EWC (mostly Wonder Worm and Wiggle Worm).

Augmented over the years with everything from:

Pure Blend,
Dyna-Gro
Fox Farms,
AN,
*Pro-Tekt,
*Hygrozyme,
*Super Thrive,
*Maxi-Crop,
*Thrive Alive (more recently),
*Budswell (more recently),
*Alaska 5-1-1 fish (speaking of stink),
Green Light (root stimulator)
Some generic bottle of good stuff I can't remember called 'Fish & Poop' (not making that up).
*Generic bulk commodities from the feed stores to include, but not limited to:
*bone meal,
*kelp,
*langbeinite,
*gypsum
*oyster shell flour
*dolomite
*various mycos,
*Guano teas,
and more.

(*) denotes current higher levels of interest/use.

Currently trying to go with the days-of-old method of 'less is more,' and getting many of the less used, outdated, or problematic items out of the room, sent to the re-use area at the dumpster transfer stations to become someone else's 'boat anchors.'
Good riddance to them, too.
