Mr Greenjeans does the Seed Thang

Hiya everyone!

With this thread I start my third summer-to-summer grow season here at ICMag. Up until now most of my harvests have been club clones, only 2 strains grown from seed - Lifesaver and Amnesia99. This year I'm going to grow mostly strains from seed that I've been lucky to receive from generous friends.

The seeds were soaked in water for 24 hours and then placed in moist paper towels in plastic bags, bags placed on top of 80 watt flourescent fixtures for warmth. By 48 hours most were showing tails, one sourbubble and one powerskunk seeds were stubborn, both were very small seeds that I suspected may not be viable. Planted all but those 2 in 1 part FFOF + 2 parts FFLW + 1 tbsp dolomite lime per gal mix. First 2 days they stayed under the 2 80W fourescent fixtures, then switched them to 250W MH. So here they are at day 3.

JLP's Golden Pineapple:

These were a bit slower than the others germing. All but one poked some green above the soil by today, I gently lifted out the stubborn one and found that it had a small tail but the seed hull was still very tight and tough. Cracked the hull between my fingernails and replanted with the hull just below soil level - hope she continues on her way. The red dashes point out the hard to see individuals. Looks like they'll be staying at the party. Thanks JLP!

Farmer John's C99xG13:

Off to the races on these beans - they germed quickly and stretching hungrily toward the light. I have high hopes for these given the quality of their parents. Thanks FJ!

GlassPackedBowl's PowerSkunks:
(PPP x Skunk Red Hair, PPP x Special Skunk#1 )

Who could say no to an offer of PowerSkunks? Not me! 5 seeds in soil 3 days. I'm betting there's a winning momma in this bunch too! Thanks GPB!

With limited room to flower, thought it would be best to keep it to just these seeds, but then I started thinking about Sourbubble BX1.

BOG's SourBubble BX1:

These seeds were gifted to me by hillbillieonpcp some time ago - thanks my friend! After reading from others that these are slow to veg, thought I'd start them now planning to veg them 2-3 months for size so the plan is they'll go in after the first batch are flowered.

So that's the initial plan starting out. If this is the first time visiting MGJs farm there's plenty of canna and non-canna treats / drinks in back, recliners and bean bags in front. That big wet vac in the middle of the room is an oversized vaporizer - flip the switch and you'll get a full lung capacity power hit Remember to turn it off though, last time the neighbors got worried when they saw cumulus clouds escaping from around the window frames.

Thanks in advance for keeping me company! Hope y'all have fun, I know I will!

Hi MGJ,
should be another great thread you are starting here mate, nice selection of plants you'll have soon. I always have a favourite strain that I want to watch in any thread, this time its Farmer John's C99xG13. Should be interesting to see how the sativa influenced cindy and pure indica combine.

MGJ, your talent never ceases to amaze me. This ought to be a great show.

I brought my bong and some bottles of bubble and BHO. Care for a warm-up?
