The law as quoted in the fishing and hunting regulations is below.

Non-Indian people may accompany Indian people that are hunting or fishing, but may not help them to exercise their hunting or fishing rights. For example, non-Indian people could not set or lift nets, shoot an animal, carry a gun, search for or flush game, or take any meat, fish or animal parts.

I clearly see Justin Trudeau lifting a net that was set by Indians.

Obviously, some sections will be struck down when challenged. For example, 1 seed is NOT equal to 1 gram. And from a medical perspective, much like edibles were struck down by the SCC, 4 plants does not mean 4 usable plants (they could all be male). So expect that to change to 4 flowering plants, or at the very least 8 non-flowering plants.

But it's all but law now (As Passed). Third reading is over I believe.
