Why is there lots of N in micro? example Gh flora micro is 5-0-1 NPK.

So the question is why is there lots of nitrogen in 3 part ferts?
And why they dont make micro with zero nitrogen like 0-0-1 whats the point of gh flora grow then flora grow is 2-1-6? more N is in micro wtf?

Stability, chelation, marketing, stupidity.... ask them, they're the only ones who know what they're doing and why (or maybe they don't or the guy who decided what goes into which bottle got fired and nobody bothered to pass that knowledge on to the new guy).

originally it would have been down to mixing techniques and compatibility of what can go into 1 bottle.

Keep in mind NPK is a very rudimentary measurement, it doesn't tell you what forms of nitrogen etc.. just a minimum derived from statement.

the gh flora series dates back the 1970s and is formulated based on what they could keep stable in a bottle at that time.

this is why most newer nutrient companies just do a 2 part..
