do green hornet led lights trigger photocells?
I keep a green led on in my room so I dont kill myself in the dark. (I am reading this may be a bad idea but am still researching)... I went in yesterday and I recently had installed an autopilot greenhouse controller... My co2 was on during the night period....
Obviously this shouldnt be happening. All I can come up with is the led is getting picked up. This may also explain some odd behavior by my titan short cycle timer as well. Thanks for any feedback. |

never mind. I know the answer. I turned them off. They were the issue. I will mess with reducing sensitivity to see if I can turn them on again without triggering the co2... Sure would be a pain to not be able to work in the dark.... Or at least not with adding 1000 ppm to the room every time.

Headlamp, preferably adjustable intensity.
Hornets can trigger photocells, and with enough duration, plants. Plants absorb very little green light (5-10% of exposure) and the rest is reflected, giving the colour we see. But it is my understanding with enough time and light they will utilize what they are given. Last edited by Mikell; 11-29-2017 at 05:19 PM.. |
