If you think they're doing well, then that's exactly what they're doing. They are at 8 weeks since flip today and pretty soon there'll be some seed porn: M x PCK has a real beauty forming at the top of one of her colitas and Syd has quite a few seeds closing in on maturity. PanHaze2 might also have one popping. Still no visible nanners or pollen drops on leaves, although Zamaldelica's earlyish transition to mid-late flower leads me to suspect her ![]() I think it's time with this last wave of pistils to start flushing OE and maybe Zam, too. They'll get at least 3 more weeks, I think, and their soil has got what it takes to take them home, prolly. I may have to up pot PanHAze2 as she's looking mighty deficient all of a sudden. I got the timer right and the room is nice and toasty, though there are a lot of curled leaves in the tent ATM. Mainly PH2, syd (as she sits in water, unlike the others) and HAze x KC1, who is still growing, but who won't be a beast, just a tasty lady. I'm good with that, Syd will more than make up for any disappointments in the yield department. Gonna be a big fatty. Photos in a few days, be well all, dee dubya ![]() Edit: forgot to say that I'm smoking a bit of Panama x ZAmaldelica #1 from last harvest, most lemony, highest yielding plant, though all 3 were. Buds are airy and light, though they are massive and I have a ton of them from that one plant. When you break up the bud, the lemon shines through, they are too dry to sense any other dankness. The smoke is smooth and easy and here's the thing (gonna light one before continuing, refresh me memories), it's got the tired eye stone I remember from both green and red panamas but no red panama mental muddiness and quite a lot of zip. No body heaviness and a nice warmth in the chest. Sweet! Last edited by deepwaterdude; 02-14-2018 at 07:26 PM.. |

9 week pic update-part 1-Haze x KC1 and Orient Express
First, grow notes -
1) got a new pH pen and a wet/dry vac. Humidity was spiking in the 60s, so now I vacuum everything up after water for less o' that. 2) Zamaldelica and OE are getting flushed, just humic acid for them this week. OE is starting to look very good. 3) Haze x KC 1 is finally getting good color despite nasty burn on her. Syd is thickening and asking (screaming) for more CalMAg, which she got last feeding. The Panhazes are starting to flop all over the place. Got some nice pics, had to narrow it down to 30 SO three updates. First is OE and Haze x KC1. Orient Express is very thick with GREAT terpenes, feel like making some sort of dessert out of her. Done in a couple of weeks, I think. Haze x KC1 is recovering, believe it or not, and it getting water and humic like the finishing plants. She's a bit happier. Has nice trich development, which is no surprise Next is the amazing Malawi x PCK and Big Syd |

9 weeks part 2-Malawi x PCK and Haze x KC 2 (Syd!)
The Malawi x PCK's a beaut, actually took many more pics of her. Syd is maybe due for repot, along with PanHaze2. Everyone in the tent will get a pH correcting flush.
Next up ZAmaldelica and the Panama Hazes. PH1 is looking and smelling great. |

9 weeks part 3 - Zamaldelica and Panama Hazes 1, 2
Phaze 2 is falling all over the place, very hard to control her 3 foot branches. PHaze 1 is behaving and doing slightly better. She's got the Panama lemon zing, while #2 has the earthy, big calyxed panama smell. And definitely some seeds. Shoulda washed the tent thoroughly.
Anyway, nothing to be disappointed about, definitely not a good job with the medium and feeding. Thought I might get away with it, but the plants are definitely showing the effects of mistreatment. Some of the pics are reassuring though ![]() Hope all are well, was surprised to hear the A5 x Malawi and Neville's x Malawi might be shorter finishers than some pure Malawi. Tempting if true. May pop 'em. Right now looks like they'll veg outside and come in sometime in summer. Happy daze, dwd |

Hey, thanks, fellas. Can't wait to take them out of the tent for pics at harvest time. I absolutely spammed the whole site yesterday, feeling sheepish
![]() Today was the first pHd water they got in a while at 6.85 or so. Runoff was a bit more acidic, but not by much. Watering was a tad sloppy today. I didn't want to move PanHaze 2, my usual entry point to the pots, because she's getting uber floppy and hard to re-situate afterwards. Instead, I tied everyone up, mainly to each other, and basically threw handfuls of water at the indecipherable areas where their pots might be, and hence their roots Sheeut, I haven't seen Malawi x PCK's soil since week 4. I'm hoping I didn't splash out more than a couple of gallons of medium by water bombing and that they can finish in the little they might have left.Pistils are turning on the two PanHazes, #2 leading the way and getting heavier faster than sis. She could be a "fast" 13-14 weeker. 10th week seems to be OE's flopping point, too, big baby. The humidity spikes have me worried for rot on her and Zam. Keeping close eye. The marijuana smell when I enter the house is now very sweet and pervasive, even far away from the room on the opposite side. Now that I'm reassured about pH I can address whatever I'm seeing in the leaves. Mainly, PH 2 and Syd being pretty potbound and showing deficiencies, even while looking healthier than a week ago. Maybe repot would get them all the way to the end without much additional feeding. Lastly, read some very interesting threads on Neville's Haze and A5, which seems to be a mythically powerful hybrid. Got me very excited for those malawi x's ![]() Good day all, happy growing. |

Check out Spaventa's thread on the Ace malawi crosses. There's a link in the last couple of pages to an IC thread about the A5, history, reputation, and finally some excellent pics of the different A5, C5 and Neville's haze. Malawi should add some serious energy to the mix!So, good news, bad news... Zam, whom I suspected of being the pollen donor in the tent if there was one, prolly is. I'm 90% sure she just shot a good round of nanners starting in this tenth week. I'm sad, because she won't get much longer in the tent to swell and finish properly, happy, because if I had to choose a donor to cross all these strains with, it'd be Zamaldelica I'll take a better look tomorrow, and if the nanners are moving fast, she's coming out. I already see a good many seeds in the tent, don't need more. And there'll be more room in the tent, no worries.
