I had another Blueberry hybrid I was gonna pop. But now I have these seeds, those are going on the back burner.....or at least not as many are getting popped. Cause these pics look incredible man. I don't think I've seen a bad looking pheno yet !

Thank you sir. That's a very kind statement considering all the quality genetics that pass through your garden. None of these lines will be culled for lack of quality physical traits. Just need to see if they pass on something special in the medicinal effect that deem keeping them around, or furthering the line. I screwed this round up letting them dry out during flower. Probably 20% plus loss because of that mistake, so they should be a bit larger n more lush. Ordered a little tent to open pollenate in! Pretty stoked as ive only done a male chamber and collected pollen to paint branches before. Probably going to do the rest of my spg13 x wb line, or the ck (chcoc thai/ bv/ bbs) line. Or if I get the original f13 cracked by then, ill open pollenate them first. Then Im going to make some crosses with a chem berry d male. I think I need 3 more breeding tents already. lol heres the bk x ck line, from around day 60. Rock hard nugs like the mother. Leaf structure like the mother. Aroma is hybrid between the two pretty well. bk x ck8, #1 aroma: berry, fruit, coffee notes: found 1 stamen, no pollen visible? bk dominate. bk x ck8, #4 aroma: cocoa juicy fruit notes: ck dominate |

Its the start of harvest time on the earliest seedlings.
Cocoa Kush F2 project: Goal is to hunt through 4 seed lots,(2 sets of males and females) for original parentage, to find unique specimens, and further 2 separate lines. One leaning toward the stretch indica berry cocoa dominate flavors, aroma, and effects. The other line being more bbs expressive, with foxtailing, and notes of cocoa, leather, tobacco, nut, and black licorice. Hopefully the lines can be brought back together to create more vigor several generations down. ck5 x ck2, #2, day 70 aroma: floral, berry notes: Should have harvested 5 to 7 days earlier for peak aroma, and trichome development. ck5 x ck8, #4, day 60 aroma: cocoa, leather, nut, berry notes: Hollow, purple stem. Lavender, blue, and purple hues. Representing the f1 cocoa berry #5 parent in physical appearance and aroma! Cant wait for the smoke test! |

Thanks gents. Im pretty happy with the ck ibl project so far. The next test round for them will include the bbs parent cross (ck6 x ck2). If all goes well I will select the best male and female bbs leaning plants for f3. I will also do the same for the bb stretch indica parents (ck5 x ck8). If all goes well with the f3 testing, id be happy to get them in the hands of some of my blues brothers!
The next pheno hunt round is under way. Made a few changes to the room. Including going from 2, 400w hps, to 2, 315 cmh phillips 3100's. Also trying out flood and drain. this is from starting germination in paper towels, then into solo cups and flooded twice a day. Also after transplanting into 1 gallon, they were flooded twice a day from the start. The next line up includes: death star x flo sour diesel ibl x flo sour d ibl x cocoa kush sour d ibl x whitaker blues Farmers Fire (cherry pie x bbf4) by second generation genetics Chem berry D (chem d x strawberry diesel) by dark horse GP4 bx (sp/g13 x sd ibl) x sd ibl, #4 large cola sativa leaning pheno. |

(Silver Pear x G13) x whitaker blues #4
The sp/g13 mother cut was my oldest elite held onto to since early 2000's. It has the most full flavor of anything ive smoked. Lavender, orange, hops, and cinnamon. Very hard to describe, but a full creamy feel in the palate. Intoxicatingly uplifting, powerful medicine, with a big grin stone. The whitaker blues male pollen used was the same that fathered my blue star cross. It seems to bring out that recessive blueberry syrup flavor and aroma, along with those beautiful red, blue, and purple hues. Like the pic on dj's book. blue star The colors have been dominated by sp/g13 side on this cross. But the aromas are either bb dominate, or a beautiful blend between the two of blueberries, and orange floral blossoms. Two main pheno types have presented themselves. A shorter more bb/wb dominate plant, that has the definite terpene profile from the blueberry side. The second pheno grows about 30 to 50% taller. It also has a much more blended terpene profile of both parents. Open pollination is planned on the next seed pop for this line to have a lot of f2s to work with (pending smoke test results). sp/g13 x wb, #5, harvested day 70 aromas: deep berry, effervescent, burgundy... dank blueberry. notes: bb/wb dominate. Large cola and calyx size. |
