There slow until they get about 10 to 12" tall and then they take off from the slow, variegated, ugly duckling looking stage. Most turn into just a little leaf color mottling, vs the ragged leaf look.

Most of these are between day 30 and day 50. Trichomes and aromas are building up nicely. Not much fade yet except for the mature cocoa kush f2s. I had a small hick up and stalled them for a couple days when I forgot to turn the reservoir valve back on. They dried up a bit and got some tip burn n leaf curl, but I think they will finish fine.

This was the last pack I popped and I ran out of room. 10 germinated. Lost 3 or 4 to damping off cause I didn't have space to plant them. Of the 6 or so that got planted, I ended up with one female. Got a little exited n stuck it in the flower room a bit early, but hopefully ill get a few test buds off her.

I personally love them. But I do have a biased opinion... Dj's genetics are more like heirloom. Know what your buying before you make a decision. The biggest things I could share are dj breeds for quality of effect. For him, a medium high, blissful effect is what he sought to capture. Which he did to perfection. These owg are inbreed, and breed true consistently for color, hollow stems, and effect. they are not vigorous f1 types with 25 to 30% thc. So with that said, if that's up your alley, then id suggest owg/dj gear for sure. If you want more vigor, then go with outcrosses that dj's son is working on under second generation genetics. Or get both like me! then create your own magic!


If you have any specific questions on strains, just ask. Ive ran all djs current offerings and a few of jd's crosses. Plus phenome has run a ton of second generation gear. Elanius posts up quite a bit and can offer some solid info on dj genetics as well. This forum is ripe with blue heads of the kindest order.
