Love me some AJ. She’d probably be perfect at 10 weeks. I️ had to take her a couple days early.
She drinks a ton.. more than her friends that were sharing a drip line, so early on mine both dried out and locked up. The foliage never looked the same but the nuggetry turned out fantastic.

Her nose is much like her mother’s with just an extra layer of citrus. To me it isn’t a specific citrus, not particularly grapefruits or orange, or lime, just sour. The nose isn’t the loudest. It was outcompeted in my run by corey

She’s funky and gassy. And you definitely smell Chem at the forefront.

As has been said, it’s not her nose but her smoke. It tastes great sure.. but it’s the buzz. It hits you quick and takes you way up.

I️ understand her story as was posted earlier. The original diesel (and it’s many other names) was accidentally pollinated to create the seeds from which AJ was found.
I’ll round up a couple pics
She definitely has a sour kind of fruityness I hope she taste like she smells.

Star I think you are describing the Chemdog 06 cut which I think is the Catskills cut.

We are also talking about the East Coast....it's a different beast entirely...I remember high grade coming in from Cali being that price into 2011-2012....people stopped paying those prices eventually, but why do you think people were sending it out here instead of selling it to the shops

Only young cats find it hard to believe but $60 a slice was the going rate
I was pissed when I spent $120 for a quarter of MSS in 1996, that is until I smoked it

I don't know much about all the diesels out there but this is supposedly the AJ cut below at harvest (day 77). To be honest, I don't really understand the hype. Maybe I'll experiment with harvesting a bit earlier this time 'round? She does yield well and she's easy to trim, but on the other hand she's not overly fragrant (I love stinky varieties) and her buzz is a bit on the bland side. She occasionally gets requested by patients but not nearly as much as some other obscure stuff in the garden. I just recently hit her with some kali mist f2 pollen in hopes of adding some kick and character to her buzz.

That looks nothing like AJSD to me. AJSD finishes with reds and purples on the leaves in almost every room. My guess is that's an ECSD hybrid. Sour Diesel is known for most of its traits not breeding true, hybrids are usually watered down / bland versions of the original.

AJSD is -known- for its stank and effects of the high. If either is lacking, it's not the real deal.
