You're welcome J, you're right about hybrids, they have many good traits for outdoor growers, pure indica dense buds can have mold so i think the sativas genes always help, pure indica effects are a bit boring to me and it often leave me with an hangover the next day.

I understand your need for your outdoor grow, i dont know what kind of climate you have thats why i advised you the shark shock for your latitude, im sure it will perform well and its an early indica dominant strain with good mold resistance and more importantly quality buds covered of resin. NORDLE is good too and it has even maybe a bit sleepier effect than the shark, NORDLE is a bit less early than the shark (except some rare phenotype) and NORDLE could be a little more sensitive to wet climate so as its often said beware of the rain.

Canadian outdoor strains were bred for the great outdoor in Canada so im sure they are resistant and early strains but im not sure of the end product quality compared to shark shock for example, i cant tell i have no experience with outdoor Canadian strains. here is a forum with Canadian genetics and outdoor growers if you wish to explore. https://unleashdagreen.net/forums/forum.php?

At your latitude im sure you can grow some nice genetics, an early indica dominant hybrid should be your better choice in your case but you will have to choose one who perform well outdoor thats an important point. as i said in another post Ortega is number one strain on my list for insomnia but it will poorly perform at my latitude and climate and at yours too i think, it will be good indoor so not a good choice for outdoor grower like us i think. im afraid the very indica profile from Ortega will make it a very sensitive strain to mold.

By the way pure skunk is very sensitive to mold too but it has many other good traits thats why we see it as a parent in many outdoor (and indoor) lines.

You could explore another way too, the autoflowering strains, they are often indica dominant strains and for the earliness you cant find better choice. last year i was very interested about autos, i read a lot about it at this forum https://www.autoflower.net/forums/

check out mephisto genetics, his strains looks very very good. forget about dutch passion and dina fems.

Autos used to have a bad reputation but it was years ago when its was the first crosses with ruderalis indica strain low in THC, now autoflowering strains have been line bred for several generations and selected for high THC content so the quality is often as better as photoperiod strains (depends of the breeder) on the other hand i will definitly stay away from strain like Think Different from dutch passion. mephisto has some killer autos in my search.

White Widow always got me high but never really made me feel sleepy at all. If you can get a Northern lights IBL or one crossed with an Afghani it will get you really stoned.

Feminized strains put me to sleep when I read about them.

Chimera has some interesting gynoecious sativa dominant strains if you wish to reconcile with this kind of seeds

I would definitely thing Indica is the way.

Pre '98 Bubba Kush always put me down. Too mellow, heavy, and indica like high for daytime. Would imagine it would be good for insomnia..

Sensi star but good luck finding a cut legit cut, took me 6 months of hunting. I find good sleep relief in Purp Urkle too..
