Welcome Jammal,

Your Malawi is really enjoying under your good cares and in your indoor LED grow

I have never tried this concrete cross (Malawi x Caribe), but should be a good one! The outcome should be a very vigorous and high yielding hybrid, sativa dominant yet tamed and easy to grow indoors, as both Caribe and Malawi are very potent, vigorous, high yielding and very well adapted to indoor growing. I think the outcome of your hybrid could be similar to Guawi, a very strong Malawi hybrid with improved central america sativa terpenes and qualities.

Thanks for sharing the excellent development of your Malawi and best wishes with the new cross, please keep us updated with its outcome

Thanks Dubi

doing some trimming yesterday and seeds falling out everywhere...very nice seeds. I'll be trying to pop some soon.

Yeah, I want to try growing sativa's in a manner something like autos, from seed and small, So mimicking a winter grow indoors SOG style....I don't really like keeping mothers and clones and all that nonsense...they just never have the vitality you get from a fresh seed plant.,growing wise...

I'll be sure to keep updates,I wouldn't be surprised if these are sprouting in 2 weeks or less

Hi Jammal,

If you have just harvested the seeds it's better to let them rest for at lest 3 months before try to germinate them. Glad you got a nice amount of good looking seeds. Good luck!

Thanks again Dubi, Solid advice, Getting ahead of myself, I should know better haha.

I have a seedling of mangobiche x peyote purple I could do up in the scrog for next round, I had some clones of this Malawi, but they just were not as healthy as I'd like and got the axe...

but I'll take this time to try popping a bunch of 17+ year old beans of what I believe was some of the last of the good mexican highland desert sativas..

try to use the old mexicans to start off my 10/14 sativa adventures...if I can't get a dozen of them to pop, I'll do the mangobiche x peyote purple in the scrog like this malawi was done.

very interesting she is, more purple in person than in the pic, but not like an Afghani...covered in "gobs" of trichomes that have melted together , just covered in monster sized glands ....the smell is very interesting ...I like it....

this is 1 day short of 10 weeks 10/14,,,will be getting the chop any day now as I feel to do it, within a week.

took a couple up close bright pics of dried flowers to show trichome texture, will give the sticky fingers.....very interesting aromas, like
sour grape sugar durban poison..basically if you smell it in a bag you would think ...wow this smells funk'n incredible..there is no skunkyness,,,but the smell alone , you know its potent ..

also couldn't help trying to sprout a few of the( malawiXcaribe) beans as the ones I did sprout were not doing good...
tried some that I harvested at a pruning early, they have been sitting out drying for about 30+....looks like near all them gonna sprout! here we go now

Most of these have been up for a day already, but here ya go purple malawi X red stripe caribe male ...

eager little things to get going, strong starters,,,Thats one of my favorite traits of the caribe, its aggressive growing behavior .
