propylene glycol

Is this safe to run in my heat exchangers? Do I need something more food grade? The MSDS seems to indicate that it is fine. Regards.

No idea what the corrosion inhibitor is, MSDS says to wash it off skin and no internal use. I'd say it's not food grade, maybe not even close.

Have aluminum heat exchangers?

Shouldn't matter if it's food grade or not for a heat exchanger. There shouldn't be any way for it to contaminate anything if it's sealed up properly.

The heat exchangers are supposed to be stainless.

It is sealed up but inevitably small leaks happen on the inlet or outlet hose and drip, drip, drip.
