Thanks bro. I have one light with a hps, and the other has a mh. One of my hps bulbs went out and I only had a spare mh bulb to replace it with. Now that I've done a few runs with it, i'm thinking about switching fully over to mh. I like how the photos don't get drown out by the orange hue of the high pressure sodium. Have you seen anyone just run metal halide? I feel like it doesn't make much of a difference, but I won't know until I make the leap to switch completely.

It's 47" tall. The smell kind reminds me of Original Glue for some reason. Chocolate is the fist thing that comes to mind. Really hard to describe. Very strong scent.

Yep chunky's icmag cup win with his ogkb 2.0 was all mh. I run mixed rooms, and have done testing with buds focused by the mh vs buds mainly getting hps in the same rooms. So I cant say its a definitive test, but the mh buds tested a little lower on cannabinoids and terps, but tasted better, and smoked better. So im happy with the mixed results, and still prefer mixed sprectum vs only hps.

Id really recommend trying out cmh. Best natural, close to sun, full spectrum bulb on the market imo. go with phillips brand bulbs and ballasts. Last I looked, sun systems were clearing out some old reflector models. 315s for $240, and 630's for $380. You cant buy a phillips bulb cheaper than $75 hardly, and the ballasts run around $150, so those are some great deals on those fixtures that include both.

Im really blown away at how healthy they grow under these. I got some more updated pics, but heres how some look under my 630s.

By the way I love that creamy flavor in cannabis. My cut of silver pearl/g13 leaned that way heavily. The cross to my whitaker blues dad carried that creamy trait pretty well. After doing some testing, im thinking the component is lavender, or whatever terps make lavender. My gut says its the linalool in the mix.
