awesome, glad you're here and found the thread ph. I'm excited to see what comes of your next hunt, looks promising.
all of them came above surface. a few of them died because the bag soil fox farm ocean forest I used came with some sort of mite or root aphid infestation. I sprinkled some diatomaceous earth on the soil surface and now I cant see them any more. they seem to be doing fine besides a few of the stems aren't straight. I also have some blue berry seeds going that were started a bit sooner so they are a bit bigger. they're up top.

Yeah I'm here with bells on
So you popped some straight Dj blueberry...back right of the photo?

I caught a lot of stretching from these last seedlings I think I left them with ziplock bags over k-cups for too long.I guess it doesn't make a difference.with the exception they need support and they were a little more vulnerable.
I feel this is one of the toughest parts of the grow because I have the least amount of control....Do you feel the same?
Most of your babies have their first true leaves so that allways feels good

Yea the 8 bigger ones are blueberry
Yea I started all of them in my 4x4 tent with no oscillating fan. I usually start them under a bit of wind so they don't need support later. When I brought them into the 4x8 with the oscillating fan they kept tilting over causeing the stems to bend. I had like zero extra room so I had no choice. I switched the limonene queen, sweet pink and Sacajawea xbb into flower a week ago so I freed up plenty of room to bring the seeds into the 4x8. Yeah I agree with the control issues when they are so small, so many little factors can cause problems. I need to mount and oscillating fan in my 4x4 asap.
Yeah I'm excited for all of them, but I'm especially excited for the blueberry. Enjoyable to see their first leafs, I think this round will have plenty of nice keepers

I always take my time bringing in the fan too and use crossed toothpick to support those in need until they take off.I sometimes Question on the right time to expose the seedlings to the atmosphere.

You popping the blueberry is extra interesting because you grow so many crosses using the BB male f4.I think its a f4 male correct me if i'm wrong.Any how a interesting grow for you to do.

Thanks bro, glad you're in to watch. Yeah I'm really excited for the bluberry. Like you say, I've done so many threads of outcrosses, it will be very interesting to see what the blueberry will do. Especially since it's the new stock that's still publicly available right now. Plus, would love to have some pure blueberry in my mother section

It will be my New Years resolution to have a nice keeper of blueberry
Do you ever keep back up cuts and keep any of the phenos you find? Or are you dedicated to straight from seed?

Spilt Vanilla

This is "Spilt Vanilla". It's the Poptarts (female) X F4 Blueberry (male) cross at 47 days in flower. The plants in this run are finishing flower in one gallon pots and went from germination to harvest in under 80 days. They were pushed really hard in this "burn-and-turn" r&d regiment but it still allows me an idea of the potential for each line. I'm calling this cross Spilt Vanilla for its sweet and creamy vanilla and candied berry smell, it kind of reminds me of spilt vanilla after some of it's evaporated. This cross is also probably the heaviest producing cross I've made yet. The most I've pulled from a one gallon pot so far was approximately 31 grams. I'm confident I'll have several from the Spilt Vanilla that beat that. The tentative release date for the Spilt Vanilla is January of next year.

Snow Melt

This is the "Snow Melt." It's the Rainbow Sherbet (female) X F4 Blueberry cross at 45 days. The plants pictured are finishing flower in one gallon pots and will go from germination to harvest in under 80 days flat. I called this one Snow Melt because it seemed to take forever to get anywhere promising, but once it did, it was totally worth it. The females in this r&d run didn't start to really shine until right around the time these pictures were taken at the end of 7 weeks. The Snow Melt has a earthen, spice, almost dusty smell with obvious underlying notes of berry and fruit. The tentative release date for the Snow Melt is January of next year.

Blue Drama

This is the Blue Drama at 46 days in flower, it's the Sour Bubble (female) X F4 Blueberry (male) cross. The plants pictured are finishing flower in one gallon pots and will go from germination to harvest in under 80 days. They've been pushed and stressed pretty hard but still show obvious signs of dank fire potential. Every female in this line was absolutely bomb in the initial r&d run. The all smell earthen, floral, spicy and fruity, I don't use the term "Pre-'98" often to describe herbs, but I think it's appropriate for this line. All females from the Blue Drama were very colorful and resin development was off the charts. The tentative release date for the Blue Drama is January of next year.
