I'll drop them soon as they arrive! Psyched about the IX. Little bit of digging and I'm sure there's another male like him to be found. I'll do an open pollenation and make a bunch of seeds. Is IX different from F2? Sometimes I get confused with these things. So if I do an open pollenation would it be IX2? |

No the Ix is technically incorrect in terms of proper labeling. It is an F2.
But you would use an Ix to indicate Bx1 x Bx3 or F2 x F8 dank.Frank

OK good to know.
I took some pics last night but must've changed my camera settings by accident. Most of them were overexposed. I'll get back in there tonight and get better ones. Here's a couple I managed that turned out ok. Group Shot - #2, #1, GBG #1 She's just about done I think. I defoliated her a good bit last night after the photo shoot and will let her finish up a few more days and then she's coming down. She's all lime terps now, but if I remember correctly, my cbdb lime pheno did the same thing at the end and then the blueberry muffin smell came back once dry, so we'll see. Looking at my old pics they don't really look similar at all to me but the texture of the buds and the smell is spot on. |

Damn I’ve been calling them Ix forever. Sorry about that. Don’t want to pass on seeds with incorrect labeling.
Those are looking great Scooby. One thing that stands out to me on your phenos as well as what Heady grew is the trichomes are exactly like the female gromxdigis I had. I can’t explain it but you can see by the female in my photos. The site isn’t letting me post pics for some reason. Not sure if that’s from the grom or digi side but it’s very noticeable If someone can post one of the gromdigi females from my album that would be great. This way you can see what I mean by the trichs. Also the tips of the buds look the same as well. Almost nipple like. Gromdigi also made rock hard buds so the GG4xSnowman should yeild good rock hard nugs I also see that the GG4x doesn’t have the typical GG4 buds. GG4 always looked like a upside down grape bunch with the bubbly buds |

GROM x Digi Bx1 F2's off the Snowman male. Honestly, these plants are stupid frosty. Breaking up the buds sounded like walking on fresh snowfall that has that ice crust on it...crunch, crunch, crunch. Carolina Blue had resin so thick it did that as well.
That aside, pics from your album, GF: #2 @3.5wk #3 @3.5wks #2 @7wk #2 Final dank.Frank

#3 Final
Now, having posted all that, I'm not 100% what you refer to. I think, it might be a very long trichome stalk, with fat heads that bend the stalks, like so: GROM, I think has a huge part to do with the extreme resin field density. But if it's the super long stalk bit, that is Digi. ![]() dank.Frank

Yes that’s exactly what I mean. It had the fattest resin heads. Some way more then others but you can see by that final pic how resin just makes it look like it’s so heavy it’s making the leaves droopy.
I’m almost positive #2 was the female I used to take back to her brother Snowman. And she was that one that you smoked that had the super strong high. The high that made me so nervous and scared I was sweating. I remember I used to take the smallest bong rips because I was afraid to get that high again lol. I totally enjoyed the high when I did small hits but man the first time I smoked her I wanted to see what it was about since I was testing the females and I took a big rip. Needless to say I didn’t sample any more flowers that day and testing was paused lol |

My bad #2 is exactly what the female looked like who I used in this cross. #2 was just leaps and bounds ahead of her mother. Snowman really increased the resin production on the F2.
I was so happy to see all that frost at 3.5 weeks. It’s also cool to see them just keep putting out the frost until the end |

These buds on both phenos definitely have that crunch like stepping in snow when I squeeze them.

#1 definitely caught up in the frost dept. May not seem like it from the pics, but I think she's now got more frost than #2. Maybe not on the leaves, but on the buds she seems frostier. Or maybe the trichs are just bigger?
