Looking great in here. Loving the progress and the smell description.

If you want any of the OGx let me know.

Absolutely!

The snowman really seems to have dominated the sssdh in these. No trace at all of her in the #1 and the grom side is really starting to take over the #2.
From the little I've read about the OGX cross, it looks like the mom came through a little more in those? I forget who I was reading in your thread that ran those... Heady maybe? Looked good though.

Might have to make a new thread before long due to new Stank Bros genetics coming into the garden. Need a thread title that will cover the whole gamut of what cooking over here.

Yes from what I know I think heady is the only 1 who’s ran all 3. I also have UKchem x Snowman. But no one has run those yet.

I believe the Snowman did take over the SSSDH cross, let the OGx shine and took a back seat and I believe the GG4xSnowman was the best of the bunch where no one was dominant and both paired well 50/50.

DF is WAY better with descriptions then I do maybe he’ll chime in.
He did do a smoke report on all females from the cross.

I think the best Snowman cross was the Ix to the GromxDigi female. There was one female of the 5 grown that I couldn’t smoke. It was WAY to strong for me. It was like smoking a nightmare for me. DF said it best where it didn’t know what type of high it was. It was like a racy lay down high which I do not love one bit lol. I never smoked the LL cut but I would assume those would pair well together for something I would NEVER smoke lol.

lol that is a great description gf. sounds like something i'd dig---i like the scary ones hehe.

just to clarify i only ran the gg4 and OGx snowman crosses. ukchem and sssdh crosses still in the vault.

what i got with the OGx x snowman was foul dead teeth chem but with insane density and a staining mentholish note i've started associating with the digiberry parentage. very uniform expressions between the four i grew out.

i don't know the grom well so hard to pick out those traits.

this was OGx x snowman #9, my favorite of the bunch. one of the best traits was the leaf to calyx ratio. just pluck off a couple fans and your'e done trimming

i would DEFINITELY grow more of those if i had em

The snowman male also seems to pass that lime terp pretty readily. My short little blueberry muffin pheno has developed lots of it. Some buds smell completely lime and others blueberry, just like my keeper from the cbdb's that I ran. Flowers are exactly how I remember, on a more stout hardy frame. Never expected to get my lime keeper pheno back from this line but I'm happy as hell about it!

Your old CB x DB Bx1 keeper:

Don't forget - While the SSSDH pheno that GF used was not as strong as the OJD cut, more hybrid effects, it did have a strikingly similar sour hazey lime with mild fuel. The lime you are getting in this cross, may be more the result of the mom, than the lineage of the dad.

Oh really? I didn't realize the mom also smells of lime. I guess since I'm only running 3 females fathered by him that maybe my speculation is a little premature. Only reason I was thinking so is because the gromberry glue has it, and so does the #1, but I really can't say to much with such limited experience with these lines.

The #2 pheno is developing very much into specifically white grape like I've read in your description of the mom, and also I'm getting some camphor now. Reminding me of a white wine kinda smell. Still some time for more to develop on that one. #1 is starting to fade already a little, so looks like she's going to be done pretty soon. I'll get some new pics up today or tomorrow.

When GF and I were first discussing his male, I told him I was expecting it to pass lime terps. It's documented somewhere on his threads.

I sourced quite a few clones for that male to pollinate and for one reason or another, fate, only a few ever got dusted. One of those cuts, which we actually tried twice for, was Lime Kush. It just never rooted.

If you're getting those notes on all plants, I'm really sad the Lime Kush never made it into the pollen mix. It would have been stellar.

However, I am happy you are finding plants that are familiar to you, given you have experience with Stank Bros lines in the past. It's cool to see those traits carry on in end-user crosses.

That really, in my opinion, speaks to the strength of the traits/genotypes/profile we had built into our gear. It stands alone as it's own "genre" and can be recognized when outcrossed into other pools. That is a huge compliment, albeit probably, unknowingly.

Well the #1 and GBG both have it that's for sure. They're enough alike that I might reverse one and cross them together. I'd be looking for a stronger framed better yielding gbg in those seeds.

#1 is stout, sturdy, and hardy in every way. Branches are some of the strongest I've seen and likely could hold some massive colas with zero support, and nicely stacked with dense buds all up and down.

GBG is a bit longer, lankier, slender and petite, but much more impressive resin and terpines. Lots of good things going on here... Minty lime sherbert, creamy chocolate marshmallow chem, floral perfume. Definitely can smell the glue in her. Really seems to be a good 50/50 hybrid. Looks like both of them are going to be fast finishers too.

I don't have lime kush but oddly enough I do just happen to be running another lime strain atm. I have seven black lime reserve seedlings that are a few weeks old. Might be interesting to toss some of that pollen in the mix.

The #2 male pollenation was a success! This round I hit the GBG, Chem Sis, and Dosidos. Pretty excited about all of them. Sad to say that I lost the male battling these damn fungus gnats, but I have a decent amount of pollen on ice.

I really wish I had more seeds from the Snowman crosses. I have a shit load of UKxSnowman but only got so many from the others.
There is still gold to be found in these beans and the traits are so damn dominant that I’m sure the lines can still be worked. Just totally sucks the male was lost from the flood.

I never in my life thought I would be so upset to lose a male plant. I still rememebr the day I looked in the male room and found he was covered in trichs. Truth be told is I only scored 1 pack of the gromxdigi from the Stankbros drop. I think I paid like $35 for the 10 of them. Not sure why these were slept on but then again DF dropped some amazing genetics at that time. All I was looking to do was F2 them so I had stock to dig through. So I figured this male looked good enough out of the 2 and turns out he was a golden goose.
I remember DFs PMs telling me DO NOT LOSE THIS MALE. And I kept him around for 6 months waiting on some of the most sought after cuts I would never have had access to to root. Well the only thing I got to root was the GG4. And trust me I know how to root clones. It just wasn’t ment to be. I to this day wish I hit the Snowman to the lime kush. DF called the lime from the beginning and said if there is anything you need to hit this male with it’s the lime kush.
We also wondered how well the GG4 cross would work since at that time the only GG4 crosses out there were being trumped by the GG4 genetics. DF called it and said this male will enhance the GG and there will be fire phenos to be found.

I only have 18 seeds of the Ix which I’m hoping will be something special. I’m going to part with 5 and see what scrappy can find since I’m not in the position to pop anything right now.
