Hey guys how well does rosin store over time depending on conditions and whats a good container to store it in?

From my understanding, it really does not store well regardless of temperature. 2 weeks or less and then it begins to separate.

I store it in parchment in my fridge, in a plastic container, I have some I made in 15. two years later it is still the same consistency, not sure about potency, but it stores fine...

PTFE or glass in the fridge if I think it will be around awhile. Otherwise parchment in the fridge.

but what I find is that there is accelerated degradation upon defrosting and a disconcerting inclination to grow nasties.

I'm guessing that the most volatile terp's (those that will even evaporate at negative temp's) are the plant compounds directed at mold and bacterial defense.

Wouldn't a terpene that evaporated at 0-40F be nonexistent in anything left at room temperature for any amount of time?

It is in the fridge not the freezer, I have never seen it grow any mold, or nasties...
