Anyone have experience with one of these? My friend uses one with propane and swears by it. I've been goin heavy on the propane lately and feel like my CMEP-OL's aren't lovin it. The output side is always around 100 psi and the guy at xtractor depot says no beuno. Any thoughts? Thx.

I haven't used a Caresaver, but I've put a lot of hours on TR-21's with 100% propane, with output always around 100-110 psi. I don't see any reason why the CMEP-OL would have a problem with the same pressure.

The Caresaver isn't oil-less. It uses a standard hermetic compressor which runs in an oil bath...

I wouldn't recommend it.

RB, Is the main reason not to use a pump with oil that it will leach into your final product? My friend has never had that problem (as far as he knows). Are there other reasons?

You seem pretty knowledgeable about pumps; which one do you recommend? I know you don't like the CMEP-OL's. I'm not sure I do either but I own four of them. Don't know whether it would be more economical to get a different pump or figure out how to modify these. Any opinion? Regards.
