What ASMEstandard closed loop extractor parts should follow ?
I want to assemble a closed loop extractor from Glaciertank .
For the safety concerns , what ASME standard these parts follow ? And can I use quick tri-clamps ? |

As LPG pressure piping, it must meet 350 psi, which the smaller sizes do, but the 6" does not with their 13MHP high pressure clamp. You will need to pick up a 6" SSH clamp at someone like LJ Star, which is rated over 400 psi.

Thank you GW .
And another thing is that I want to add sight glass on the extractor , but I read from your blog that there is a dangerous point to add sight glass between the dump valve and material tube . But from the article ,broken extractor image that I can see that the glass sight is not broken ? So does the sight glass is a factor that cause the explode ? And another question is that can i use a Long Tee | Tri Clamp to add the sight glass on extractor base so I can see the progress ? |

A tubular sight glass is not suitable as a structural member taking periodic side loads. A stainless "tee" or cross with wafer type sight glasses, puts the glass under compression and will work.
