Im still learning how to grow indoors as ive always grown outdoors.
I just put this setup together a couple weeks ago, its a 10'x10' bedroom with 10000btu window a/c, a 4'x4' tent with 1 600w hps aircooled hood, outside the tent is a 6bulb 4' t5 fluorecent light for seeds/clones so that adds a lil heat but not much.

Right now I have a 6'' active air fan pulling air into the tent and into the aircooled hood then exhausting out of the tent i have the fan hanging and exhausting into the bedroom. This slowly heats up the room escpecially if the a/c is off and im trying to run the a/c for 30mins on and 15mins off to save some energy, so instead of exhuasting into the bedroom im thinking of running ducting and exhuasting outside the bedroom, either through the wall or attic, but im worried that it will make too much negative air pressure in the bedroom? I dont think the a/c lets in outside air but im not sure.

Or should I try to avoid that and get a 2nd fan that pulls air from outside the room then through the aircooled hood then back outside the room again so its seperated from the air in the bedroom?

...i grow in a spare bedroom where i have a pair of 4x4's, each with it's own barebulb 600HPS and both connected to a single 600watt magnetic ballest through a flipbox, what that means is that the ballast runs 24/7 and the flip box is set on a timer to flip the power every 12 hours, so 1 of the 2 tents is always running.(each tent has it's own 6inch exhaust fan carbon scrubber combo with speed controllers plus 3x 9inch table fans i picked up at Wal-Mart for $15.00 each)

...then also i have a 5x5 closet converted into a vegging op with an 8bulb, 4ft T5. ...this closet has its own 6inch CanFan MaxFan, the 3 speed model.

...then, on top of that i also have a cloning/seedstart cab with 4x 55watt PL-LS although i generally only run 2 bulbs so usually thats 110watts. ...this cab has 2x pc fans mounted as exhaust fans and 2x pc fans mounted inside as circulation fans.

...then i also have a 5000btu window AC unit.

...the closet, the cloning cab and both bloomtents exhaust into the spare bedroom and because i live alone i am able to keep the temps in balance by AC during the hot months and opening the door and allowing the hot air from the grow to circulate throughout my apartment.

...i also don't use intake fans, all my intakes are passive and pull air in from the bedroom they live in.
