the germination (seedlings above soil) is 60% atm, hence the extra seeds per pack... but the rates tend to improve for the first year so likely that will get a bit better

I think Tom (wherever he is) would be happy knowing these were being reproduced and preserved.
May I ask you to provide whatever population dynamics you have about the seed's heritage? IE- number of plants involved in the OP, #males, #females, etc. Did you keep clones? Will you make S1 or intentional 1:1 crosses in the future? Which lab analyzed these for pinene- dominance?

I bet these are gone the day they arrive, you know I have some reserved as well. Thank you for propagating this part of Tom's heritage, and adding your own selective spin on a legend(wait for it)-ary accession.

Hi Chimera, the OP population was 6 females and 3 males with seeds supplied by Lean Green from his Tom Hill derived seedstock. i Kept clones and am running again sensi but will not keep clones long term (no space). I wish i could use larger populations but thats the best i can do at present, i hope at some point to make another batch with new plants from Lean's seeds.
I have made a cross to my pre-98 Bubba and also to Gorilla Bubble, although those seeds are still 'cooking' in the plants and unconfirmed. I may make some S1's if i feel i have found an outstanding plant.

Lab reports aren't easily available in the UK but the pine needles scent is dominant in all plants so alpha pinene is very likely to account for this. background scents are subtle but some plants are a bit sweeter smelling and some are more yeasty/doughy in the background.
