Hello team. I'm an European based hobby extractor doing hash extractions for mainly edible purposes. As most of you know decent THC content Maroccan hash is plentiful and cost 3-4 euro per gram, so it's a cheap way of acquiring oil.

Currently I wash the pulverized hash in ethanol and funnel it off quickly, but as you can imagine it's a fairly dark solution due to the amount of chlorophyll that the ethanol pulls. After that I run it over activated carbon. Then use a glass still set up to recover some ethanol.

I'd like to find ways to further refine my product. My end goal would be a tasteless product that I can re-introduce terpenes to, for use in a e-cigs for my small circle. However since this is a hobby endeavour, I'm financially bogged down. Currently I have about 1000$, and I'm hoping for some suggestions on where to go from here. Anyone?

ever consider using uv light while your hash is dissolved in your ethanol....

what was the source of your UV light? Sun oder lamp?

interestingly enough....UV light will turn a bottle of pepsi crystal clear over time.....

I think the UV would do more damage than good to the oil...

A saline wash with pentane as your non-polar will improve color and be easy to purge.

Pretty much...I was amazed how it can go from brown pepsi to clear...To be honest tho i didn't try the clear pespsi product...Assuming it would be as bad as the picture above...that pepsi clear shit was nasty.
