I personally like to keep the leafs on so that the flavor is retained and after the stems dry enough to snap you may agree to results

Im going to dry trim for sure, just wanted to know if I was just to cut the plant whole and hang will the results be better? Rather than chopping her from limb to limb and then dry trimming.

i trim off my big leafs & hang the hole plant.
if u want it to dry quicker ,chop off alll the buds & let dry

if I chop off the buds will it effect the taste, potency and overall smoothness?

From my experience hanging it all whole did result in proper moisture and quality flavor that's just my experience tho

i like to smoke my weed after atleast a 2 week cure [sharp aroma/taste] the same weed that goes in a jar for longer cure changes aroma/taste to more sweet/citris/berry/fruity. aroma& smother taste most of the time

hanging the hole plant will get a longer better cure.
choping them buds off will bry quicker ,but will still need a longer cure 4 that sooth taste
