Wow, great job ozzie! I love the ICE, and it also turned purplish isn't it? That could also be thanks to genetics of the ICE which sometimes can show purplish reflections but still, looks beautiful and healthy overall. And it also packed some nice frosty buds

I just had a few questions...How long did the ICE veg for? And what about the C99, your sativa choice?

Thanks for showing such great plants in this thread, much appreciated.

We are looking forward to hearing about a nice grow report, we are quite curious down here!

Take care,
Mr B.

i usually veg for 6 weeks or so indoors before i put plants outdoors to flower...and yes in the cooler times of the year the ICE gives off some nice colour.

it is late in the season for me and if the rains start early any plants will get smashed with mould. the C99 i have one seed popped along with some PAxPA and one ICExICE for a late run and i will save the other C99 seeds for next season.

i have decided to do away with cloning and grow from seed only...so you can expect another order from me around Xmas time as i get ready for the new year. along with the C99 i will probably order your skunk and more ICE....I will give the Pure Ak a break as i will have enough in my stash to see me through...

i was lucky enough to get a look at my friends crop of PAxPA and it was looking very good with a couple of different phenos...most had big hard buds but a few were light and fluffy buds that definitely had a sativa structure although the actual plants looked pretty much the same.

6 weeks is definitely a good idea for vegging, sure that is enough to get strong and healthy plants.
Yep, I understand your point...the usual mould issues. But the C99 that you already have, now has 2 weeks or something like isn't it?

Glad to hear that, Skunk is a great choice both for bud production and for smell. And is among the most stable strains we have too.
You have been experimenting and trying a lot of PURE AK, could be is time for a nice change

vegging indoors until the plants get a good size is essential as the plants will go into flower as soon as they are put outdoors. i haven't been as diligent as i should have been with my seedlings and didn't notice my veg light wasn't working. the seedlings have really stretched with long thin stalks that i had to support today and will get a new light ASAP.

yeah definitely time for a change,am also considering one of your outdoor strains...will a 6 -8 week veg be enough before flowering outdoors?

Ok, I understand the situation of seedlings. Hope they recover soon, but I believe it won't be a problem, you may want to do some LST in case, just to support them well. Is just an idea...

Anyway vegging indoor with our strains can be tricky sometimes.
Thing is the if you want to pre-grow them indoors you have to be careful.
You have to be careful because all our Outdoor strains have a tiny percentage of auto-flowering genetics and this basically means that bringing it outdoor after growing indoor could cause them to start flowering too early.
I explained in other threads that is not always like this but there are a few phenos that are photo sensible, just because of this auto-flowering touch in their genetics. So since some phenos are more sensible you have to be really careful to not stress or shock the plant with different hours of light when you bring them outdoor.

Anyway, 6-8 weeks are more than enough,if you grow the Easy Sativa it can get tall as a tree, the Purple Maroc and Maroc a bit less but still lovely big "trees".

actually not looking for trees as they stick out like dogs nuts in the location i grow...got to keep everything under 1.2 - 1.4 m or it can be seen from afar. thats why vegging under lights plants will flower as soon as they go out. considering that plants take time to adjust stretch is reduced, so you get shorter plants. i also lay plants horizontally and tie down when i transplant if they are looking at getting too tall. i have used this area for many years now and it has been stealth that has seen me keep it...

Ok, that's sounds and clear enough
Good that you informed about it, now I do understand your position.
Basically a lot of training then.

In any case if you need any help or suggestion with the next strains, just write me a pm and I will try to help you out.

All th best,
Mr B.

sorry for lack of updates but my camera died and have been under the pump. i have harvested getting close to 2lb of hard sticky buds although the seed PAxPA plants were not as dense as the clone PAs. the ICE buds are rock hard and are extremely tasty...

my C99 seedling is still powering away and will go out in the couple of weeks with a bunch of other seedlings i have...but this is a hail mary crop that has about a 10 - 15% chance of being harvested since the rains will start soon. i usually don't plant this late but with losing my first crop of the year to cyclone Debbie i will to risk it to see what i can expect from C99 next season.
