Has anyone bred a medical strain from hemp native to the U.S.?

Is it even possible?

Just previously feral hemp and nothing else? It would be a lot easier if crosses are allowed. Some ditchweed tendencies have to be bred out. There are some exceptional plants found growing wild, but all the ditchweed F1's I've tried autoflower.

I think this was done with that charlottes web strain regular high thc plant crossed to hemp or am i wrong? I think im right. Yes its possible they already make cbd oil from hemp alone so adding the high thc genes can make high cbd plants low thc or 50 50 thc cbd

Pops was working on this years ago, said it was proving to be very difficult. Not sure he succeeded.
