Ok i have already used the search bar and found some results but nothing solid on the question at hand.

So as it goes the person who shut down my vac oven didn't follow procedure and in turn about 200 grams worth of nug runs slabs got a nice batch of vac pump oil.

Before anyone says trash it i promise you if it was 10-20 grams i wouldn't have a single problem doing so but the material was fronted and now im on the hook.

I have been told to try brine washes followed up by very cold dewaxing and while im pretty sure that would get out a good majority of any contaminants. Im left wondering if I could perhaps bypass some of those steps and go straight into the short path. I will likely have someone far more experienced do the distilling as I have yet to drop the money on my own setup but im not sure if we need to do some further purification or if we can simply put this now oily slab right into the crucible and start cleaning it up.

Any suggestions are appreciated other than those telling me to eat it and trash the material as im already quite well aware of my very fucked situation.

Dude this wasnt my mistake it was the mistake of a helper who has since been banished.

I have specific procedure in place to prevent this shit in the first place but when one does not follow them i can't do anything about it.

Also based on the appearance of the product i could likely still sell it as nug run with ease but i care about my patients which is why I'm not doing so. Believe me this will be 100% lab tested before going out to patients. Im just trying to salvage what was 200 grams of fire nug run so as to not completely lose my ass on it.

If you have some insight please give it but if you're just here to put me down and make baseless assumptions on what i provide to patients keep it to yourself.

Id be honest with whoever it is your into for the material. I only feel like taking action with people if I think they are being assholes or bullshitting me.
If I think they fucked up and they recognise it, we work something out.

Depending on the densities of the oils, you MIGHT be able to use a separatory funnel and some kind of water wash to POSSIBLY separate the layers of oil.

chromatography would def lend a hand.

i've been experimenting with re-distilling pump oils, haven't had to sep that fraction before

from an msds of a pump oil

"Incomplete combustion products, Aldehydes, Oxides of carbon, Sulfur
oxides, Smoke, Fumes"

are all possible when heat is involved with your pump oil.

Pour Point: -12°C (10°F)

Big Johnny you're the asshole for dissing someone who stands up for what's RIGHT, yes there is only one RIGHT in this case and that's what the OP is too much of a miserable cur to acknowledge. (oh ya, please don't reply with the facts or truth - someone is getting fucked here and it's not me)
