Hi everybody

My Sensi Star x The HOG chopped last night.

she's still standing.
had to see if the pollination was successful so i pulled off one swollen calyx and disrobed the result.


she will remain until at least next friday, 120 days since germination. hard to believe but true!

the rootball stayed in the cup the whole time, 125 days. still shaking my head.

the roots appear healthy.
kind of surprising. the medium drained quickly yet i only watered once daily (except when i flushed the extra feed out).

drying above light fixture so i can harvest the seed within the challenges parameters and present my final post.

last pics.

it's been interesting. four months...just three stumbling blocks, one from over feeding, one missed watering, and once spraying insecticide for gnats that she didn't like.

the medium performed better than expected and retained moisture throughout the entire experiment allowing me to water just once daily.

i fed twice. once at about the fourth node when i overfed, and again when yellowing began in earnest about halfway.

she was pollinated from a group of 13 males over several days in the greenhouse and was loaded with seed. i let her go as long as possible before the cut and dried her quickly to harvest the beans before today.

the image isn't the best but the 8.5 grams dried inflorescence is.

i used a screen and a tray to separate the seed and had a decent yield.



3.1 grams seed. didn't count thems...



no smoke report (i had to quit smoking) but it vapes pretty nice!

we had such a great response to this challenge in the first three pages or so. i suspect some people learned a good deal about their abilities and susceptibilities.
