Yeahh..the Purple one is freakin beautiful!! and yes, have a columnar structure perfect for sog .. although having a normal growth they possibly will develop strong lateral branches, but always very compact.. amazing purple macro!!!

Is their shortness due to the nutrient burn/shock? I imagine with a clean grow, zero setbacks, these girls would be at least double their height? I understand they are a short, compact strain to begin with and can only assume that's the cause.

Yes I think yes .. automatic plants in 2 liters you are seeing flowers on day 21 .. this means they have about 15 days grow stage .. with 7-11 liters you can get a week more .. from 15-20 Liters could reach even a full month.. this is so, autoflowering starts flowering stage when the roots colonize the whole container or when they reach adulthood, so it is highly recommended to grow directly in the final container, so also any problem in the first two weeks will irreparably affect the size of the plants..

Well I decided to chop down the smallest to make a little more room in the tent. I took a look at the trichomes and saw enough cloudy to give it a shot. The other two will be left a little longer. This little one has a very strong, pungent smell....almost like cat pee? Wish I could think of a better way to describe it lol. It's like a micro version of a full sized plant. Looks like a Christmas ornament just hanging there. She's covered in trichomes and very stick to the touch.

One more chopped
I took a look at the remaining two plants and decided to cut the purple one down. She is light and airy. Won't be a lot to her, but she really is a stunning color. Prettiest I've personally grown.
Number two has a little more time. She has fattened up quite a bit so I'm hoping to get an ok amount off her, considering how much I stunted her and how affected she was from the nute burn. P.P. |

64 days from seed. Last chop.
Typically I would have given her another week but I'm ready to end this grow. I checked her trichomes and could see 2 to 3 amber trichs per leaf, so I cut her down. I would normally wait for a little higher ratio of amber trichs.
PR2 I wish I hadn't messed this grow up. The mini plants were intriguing and I feel I would have had 3 amazing plants. I have hope that this one will be nice. I will only be giving this one a smoke report. Due to grower error, and early chops of first two, I don't feel it will be fair to the strain, Seedsman, or The Joint Doctor. Till next time. P.P. |

Final report
The genetics seem good. The problem was the grower. Lessons learned. As for plant number 2 it dried into some light, airy bud. It has an earthy, fruity smell and a green hit tasted a little fruity and then the rest was more of the earthy flavor. She's pretty sitting in the bubbler. Nice, smooth smoke, despite only being dried, not cured. The effect is relaxing and I experienced warmth in the back of my neck and shoulders. Nice evening feel for me. I would like to try these again when I can and do them right. That's it for the Purple Ryder. Thanks for coming along for this bumpy ride.
