Post Etymology of OG Kush

The hindu Kush mountain ranges are also known as the Caucasus Indicus in ancient Greek. Some specialist suggest that the word Indicus is derived from the local river on the mountains called indus river. Specialist also think that the word kush means kill. They strap on a bad name for cannabis. Many have thought the word assassin originated from hashish smokers who would go out and kill like an assassin.

I would like to propose a new theory: Cuacasus means the mountain ranges that are large separating areas of the world. While the indicus describes the type of mountains. Basically translates to "mountains where the indicas grow"

Many have attempted to portray the word kush as kill or something evil however I propose that we may have gotten it wrong. Just like the "indicus".

If you traveled back from india in english you might sound and write the words "Indica" and "Kush" but the reality is it might have been spelled. "indicus" and "Khush".

Khush in hindi means: Happy.

This makes sense because the Khush plants in the Khush mountains make you happy when consumed or smoked. This type of cannabis is known for potency and crushing stress and anxiety.

Im my humble opinion I dont think its the slaughter mountains rather the Happy mountains.

Im willing to change my look on this if you got something I dont know. Please free to let me know what you think about this and what you currently believe.

Here we go again!

Whether you are wrong or right is of no consequence...

You are still...
100% completely wrong about the relationship of OG Kush with the Hindu Kush Mtn range!

When are you going to get that through your, obviously, thick as fuck skull & allow it to sink into your pea-brain?

Or is your skull a safe-house with a check valve that doesn't let a thing in?

I bet this thread ends up in the round file just like the last one!

Or I might have been a random grower in CA whose buddies brought him some bag seed from FL. Or a million other possibilities

None of it changes the fact. There is something perceived as OG Kush

If I had something I perceived as better I would name it something else and let the market decide.

Why the endless debate?

Sounds plausible to me
After all, even josh d and mattbubba claim to have
found the seed in bags of weed
Khush translates to Kush in English too since “kh” is not
possible for you to pronounce
I have also seen the spindly type Kush growing in villages to boot
Which ones is a proprietary secret and I have mad respect for Sam and others who’ve ventured the hippy trail over the last 40 years
If you think villagers gave the best seed to him or shantibaba or any other western mongrel, I’ve got news for you-lol
